Damn that sucks, thanks for letting us know dash. Hopefully this won't fuck content creators too badly.

help
The CM storm tenkeyless is boss if you can find a used one/save a bit more money. Don't get blues if you have a desktop mic and maincall though. My team hates me now.
BonafideI wasn't targetting you specifically at all :)
I was targetting the people just throwing out retarded stuff like "its just a moba blablabla" While they haven't tested out the game at all, I mean a good argument that has been mentioned before is take a look how tf2 was back in '07. Just give this game some time honestly, all this labelling about a game thats not even in beta yet.
Fair point. Outside of the few people who have played it, we're really just speculating what it will play like. Shit, looking at TF2 trailers doesn't give you any idea how fast the game can move. I am really looking forward to it, even if I don't end up liking it.
Still not sure how to feel about the wallhack abilities.
BonafideHaving abilities in an FPS suddenly makes it a MOBA?
No you're right, it doesn't make it a MOBA. MOBA's typically have top-down views, lanes, shit tons of item builds, and numerous champions. The reason I said that "I'd be disappointed if it's just a MOBA-FPS" is because it looks very similar to a MOBA. If it plays like one too, with nothing different, then I'll be disappointed. I'm not at all saying that having abilities in an FPS automatically doesn't make it a true FPS, because the only standard for an FPS is the first person perceptive really. My reasoning is just that it looks like it will play at least somewhat like a MOBA, with you having to learn exactly what a large range of champions do, are weak to, and are strong against. They might potentially have a pick/ban system for ladder play as well.
You could argue that at its core, every FPS has similar elements to MOBA's, however, the game has some things that I'm not used to seeing in an FPS, which is why I drew the comparison.
I'm going to try it, largely because a lot of my friends who moved from TF2 to LoL will be playing it, and I'm lonely. However, from what I can see so far, I'm with Hellbent. The skill set doesn't look like my jam at this point in time. Awesome movement mechanics are why I love quake and source games; they add depth to the game for me, and reward players who are good. Having advanced movement on a cool-down just seems incredibly boring; there's no skill ceiling beyond timing.
It looks fun, and I will give it a shot, but MOBA's and I don't get along. If it's simply a MOBA with a first person perceptive I'm going to be disappointed.
A toddler I used to watch pronounced "water" as "wahwah". An online friend also told me he pronounced it that way when he was little. I thought it sounded cute
You guys are actually the fucking best; that was surreal. Thanks to everyone who donated, everyone who took part, and everyone who made this event possible.
See you next near buds
Hard working people like Cherry is why the competitive TF2 community has survived this long. Thanks man!
Well, damn, I was looking forward to gaming today. Thanks for the extension though Tri, you're a babe.
deetr1-1 after an hour ty esea
I love not playing videogames. I paid 30$ just so I could not play this game.
We're looking for multiclass backups for our open team. I have a weird schedule, and might not be around all the time; that and having backups is a nice safety net.
Our roster is as follows:
Soldiers: mikey and arry
Scouts: karova and huynhy
Medic: me
Demo: Carson
Low-mid open team, down to hang out!
Add me if you're interested!

BuschmasterACRyou should probably grind through the ugc divs for some team experience, mentoring won't completely make up for no experience.
its called open for a reason. since he's looking for a low open team experience is good but not a requirement.
shoot for the moon bro
I play medic in HL because I'm masochistic.
