Crossbow in any competitive situation. Needles (usually overdose) on pubs because you can actually kill people who mindlessly M1 you with them. One of the most frustrating things is hitting 3 straight crossbows on someone W+M1ing you in a pub and still dying.

If there's one definitive truth in competitive TF2 it's that the only thing Plat hates more than playing demo is losing to b4nny because he's playing something other than demo.
My favorite anime is Tales from Whisper of the Disappearance of the Grave of the Spirited Wolf Cowboy Alchemist Cardcaptor Mahou Shoujo on the Slope of a Distant Star per second beats who chase lost voices deep below After Story x sis.
There isn't a TF2 player that I'd rather have on my team than dr_insane. He's a great friend and an awesome scout. He's pretty good at the other classes too (besides medic). I've never knew someone who was better at applying small bits of advice. Give this guy a team!

KevinIsPwnPlatypusJust out of curiousity, what do people use webcams for? I don't think I would ever really use one.
I have a lot of internet friends I skype with, and I stream. Also it doesn't cost too much more than a standalone mic, so people often just get the webcam.
I said I'd post a video of the C525, here's me on stream with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhC_krJW7wM#t=446 It looks pretty nice with good lighting, and the mic's not all the bad either. I think it records in 720p.
That's pretty much why I'm planning on getting one. The mic I have is really shitty and I'd rather have one that's just fixed in one place rather than rubber banded to my earphones (don't ask). Thanks for the input.
I don't have a webcam for my desktop so I'm looking for recommendations. I'm eying this one.
Can anyone recommend it or a better one at a comparable price?
Note: I'll need it to be able to clip on to a flat screen monitor.
smobofacesSo you're running away as a med with the amputator getting extra health regen and switching to the crossbow every few seconds with the passive reload. Got it.this is going to be the most annoying fucking thing to fight
The disadvantage of this strat is that it's going to be terrible at close range with the damage reduction of the amputator (+no threat of gaining uber) and the still very poor damage of the crossbow at close range. Just get in the med's face and body him.
Still, it'll be interesting to try.

VortexMonkeySuitIf you have a mouse/mousepad, osu is pretty fun and runs on most things.nightcore remixes and anime songs: the game
edit: if you can tolerate the worst music on earth
edit: also pendulum
edit2: i like osu
Reliable and consistent. The double down thing was about as last minute as possible and he performed incredibly under the circumstances. Always has my back (except in L4D2).
You might have an FPS cap on your high performance config (so that you get a stable rate, because the general rule of thumb is once your FPS gets past 110% of your monitor's refresh rate it doesn't matter how high it goes in terms of performance).
1 up to mah Knittah
Seriously though, he's a pleasure to have on the team. He puts a lot of hours into learning his craft and really wants to take his game to the next level.
(actually in the right thread this time)
Built this a few months ago with the help of TFTV threads. A thread like this would have been really helpful then.

Too bad Hannspree doesn't make the 120Hz monitor I have anymore. It was by far the best bargain I've ever seen on a monitor.
