I have a Deathadder 2013 Left Handed edition and if the right handed edition is as ergonomic as the left handed one I'd highly recommend it. It leans towards palm grip a little (or maybe I just have small hands), so if possible I'd try to see how it fits in your hand.

TwinqeXplayerI think X & Y was made with competitive battling in mind, and therefore they wanted to make less focus on actually grinding for creating a competitive team and more on actually battling with a competitive team (as seen by Super Training for EVs). While that means while you're a bit overlevelled for the game playthough, it means a lot of time saved in the long run when making a team for online battling.
While this is true, IV mechanics stayed the same with no in-game way to manipulate them. I'm not sure how they could implement this, but I think that ultimately IVs are a bigger barrier to competitive Pokemon than EVs. Honestly, it takes me less time to EV train traditionally (power items, pokerus) than with the new system, so I'm not sure how much it helps. While a way to visualize EVs definitely helps, if they were inclined to make competitive pokemon more attractive to people, changing the IV system is an absolute must. As an experienced RNG manipulator, it's really not a lot of fun having unalterable, invisible stats.
However, I think GF did a great job on limiting power creep this generation, and that will hopefully be a good thing for the standard OU metagame.
The biggest change with the IV mechanics is the Friend Safari. Pokemon in the friend Safari are guaranteed to have 2 IVs of 31. That's why Ditto friend Safaris are so popular. With a combination of this and the destiny knot trick shown above, getting a Pokemon with 31/31/31 or even 31/31/31/31/31 is much easier than in previous generations.

I loved this game. I loved many of the new streamlining mechanics. I loved the new Pokemon. I loved the megaevolutions. However, I had to be sure to watch all the credits to see who I had to slap for the horrendous plot (Junichi Matsuda). Seriously, the game is now my 3rd favorite in the series, but the plot was TERRIBLE. It was the worst official thing written for Pokemon since Mastermind of the Mirage Pokemon. But not to end on a bad note, the game achieved beauty in so many ways that you could bat an eye from the cringeworthy story.
What's new about leveling?
EXP is no longer split. the EXP share is no longer a held item but an item that can be toggled "on" and "off" in your backpack that gives 50% experience to every Pokemon in your party. Every Pokemon who is sent out to battle even for 1 turn gets 100% experience.
So pretty much in a typical battle you're getting 350% experience assuming you carry 6 unfainted Pokemon.

My last FM compatibility is always "low" or very low with pretty much everyone. That's a result of using mostly osu to scrobble.
killemdeaderAre you on wired internet?
Yes
Hate to make you experience it more, but could you do a netgraph 3 with packet loss and choke? It might not tell us much, but it's more useful for figuring out network problems than straight ping and payload data.
I'll do that, but if packet loss is the issue, is there anything that can be done other than "get better internet?"
For the past few weeks I've been getting game breaking freezes in my game. Randomly during matches on any server with any settings (pubs or competitive) I'll completely be unable to do anything. My screen won't respond and the image on my screen will stutter up and down but not move. My ping doesn't appear to spike and my FPS remains the same.
I've tried all the standard quick fixes (validation, router reset, etc.). I finally managed to take a screenshot of my netgraph when the freeze occurs and this is what it looks like.
At the beginning of the freeze

After the game returns to normal

I don't really know how to interpret these graphs or what to do about this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
I like to analyze my own games which I try to do by hand first and then check with an analysis engine. Here's a nice free one which should be good enough for anyone who isn't master level (2000+)
I don't really have time for comments right now but I must say I've never seen that variation for white against the Sicilian, which ultimately was what threw me off (as well as that extremely silly g6 move).

Nd5 pretty much forces a trade at some point (obviously I can't do 26. Qxd2?? 27. Qxg6+ Kh8 28. Nf7#) and I have no more threats. gg
