Unironically its a better weapon on many maps and its nowhere near as hard to use as most people make out. Also if you're good with it, there's situations where it's almost impossible to do anything to prevent yourself from being killed by it. People are going for gardens they shouldn't be though.

mastercomsCollaideThere are changes from team comtress on github. Valve could literally spend a mere hour copying everything over which would like entirely fix the game. they just refuse toI wouldn't want Valve to do that. The changes on GitHub aren't ready and I don't want to cause bugs in the game.
Do you ever plan on making a branch which is only "release candidate" changes that could be pushed to the game now? I think there is a non zero chance of valve implementing those changes if you sent that to them considering the low amount of work to implement vs the performance considerations.

det-I'm aware that this is only a tiny part of the document but #3 is not a good idea. Pugchamp is meant to have the best players compete against each other. It ruins the pug for everyone else if your demo is div2 and is only doing 180 dpm when the rest of your team is div1/invite. For now, lower leveled players should look to play TF2Center or find in houses around their skill level. RGL pugs should be another boost for low level players if it ever gets released.
Imo this is a big problem with pugchamp as is right now though. The service clearly is meant to (and used to) have B, C etc pugs going as it has several servers for this purpose, but this almost never happens now. I think there's a few reasons for this, one being the website design, you can't pick 2 pugs concurrently and it takes a long time so people don't stick around. I also think there's a lot of people who would rather wait for an A pug that they don't even end up getting picked in than play a B pug at all, I see this in inhouses as well. Playing pugs at a higher level is generally more enjoyable and more valuable if you want to get better but low level players also need to be able to do this and I think on Pugchamp in particular people tell them not to captain if they're waiting on an A pug to end.

tibbyMost niche internet communities naturally breed a toxic environment. I've been on forums for various sciences I'm interested in and even those have toxicity and mob mentality. Would I say the paleontology community is toxic because of said forums? Definitely not. I will say the situation in TF2 is generally better than games where you're playing competitive on a ladder system, because reputation is a factor at play. I've had my run ins with groups of toxic people before, but if you keep to yourself and don't antagonize them you'll generally be just fine. More often than not you'll be able to find a team with an environment that suits your personality, and you'll be able to meet great people through that medium.
Where are the paleontology forums at though I want to see the arguments when they drop the new Ediacaran biota.
