Costar stabilized keys like the ones on the QFR are actually pretty easy to remove, you don't need to remove the inserts from the keycap to do so.
Here's an example http://youtu.be/NsZqAU9u0-w?t=48s

Browns are a good starter switch, I'd personally pick those over reds if you want a good all-round switch. YMMV with switches though, it is entirely preference.
I'd get the QFR over the Leopold, it's a very solid keyboard and it has some extra features that the Leopold doesn't have. It's also a lot cheaper than the Leopold at $65 right now on Amazon.
Check this thread if Steam goes down, Valve likes to do maintenance on Tuesdays/Wednesdays at around 4pm PST.
I don't personally use accel right now but the few times I've experimented with it I really liked using a relatively high offset value and a very low sens (20"/360+), the accel would basically kick in on moderately fast flicks, it makes using a mouse like the 3.0 possible at a low sens without having to worry about negative accel.

Season starts on October 6th.
pls give us patriotic rocket man
That's a really good deal for a great keyboard.
If you want a TKL-size keyboard with a numpad then this is great, I prefer this over my QFR and Choc Mini.
Can also add a few more mice:
Roccat Savu - Solid claw/fingergrip mouse, has solid tracking and a good implementation of the ADNS 3090.
Roccat Kone Pure Optical - Same hardware as the Savu, just a different shape.
The aforementioned Zowie EC2 and AM should also be added, the EC2 being a smaller version of the EC1 that's around the same size as an Intellimouse Optical 1.1 and the AM being something along the lines of a very skinny Xai/Sensei.
In regards to Steel Series mice and accel, only their Kinzu V1 and Xai/Sensei have accel. The V2 Kinzu, KanaV1/V2, and Ikari series don't have accel, the only thing that some of them have is some angle snapping and bad interpolated tracking (Kana V1 at anything above 800dpi).
A few mousepads:
Handstands Supermat - Really inexpensive cloth pad, supposedly very similar to the Qck in terms of feel. Also comes in blue and grey.
Allsop Raindrop XL - Another relatively inexpensive cloth pad, this pad has been around for a number of years and it's still used by a good number of FPS players due to its unique glide. If you want a really slow mousepad then this is it, it's very smooth and quite slow.
WMO, 1.1, and 3.0 are all solid choices.

Telling us what kind of grip you use could help narrow down recommendations. Any of the Zowie mice are solid recommendations as well, the FK is quickly becoming one of my favorite mice.
Good scout, is good at clicking on people (especially me), and he is the master of backcaps.
DX9 stutters really badly for me now, every few seconds my framerate will drop and it makes my mouse feel really laggy.
you can only toggle a crosshair on/off with the achievement tracker method as far as i know. i don't think animations work with the achievement tracker method, at least i haven't been able to get them to work.
in your case you could probably use the cl_hud_minmode crosshair method
aimmy team cant take anything serious
couldn't have thrown any harder
Open up your nvidia control panel, go to "Adjust desktop size and position", and set the drivers to scale to aspect ratio. Sounds like its set to scale to full screen atm.
