the only reason i use an alt sometimes is when i'm in a bad mood or don't feel like talking to anyone, i get on an alt where i don't have very many people added so i can't really be bothered by anyone who doesn't even know i'm in a bad mood.
but i can see why people who are well known wouldn't want to be annoyed constantly by people.
i used to run wireless, my internet was super shit and anytime anyone in the house used the internet for anything it basically shut down my connection and stayed out.
the whole disconnect from mumble but you're still in, i think that mumble has a timeout period where you're still in but aren't actually connected, and if your internet comes and goes in the time it takes for it to timeout then it doesn't ever actually disconnect you from the server. I think your internet is having periods of extremely short connect and disconnect periods where it's turning off and on again, due to how the inconsistency of wireless
make sure that you're the only one on the wireless
edit: my internet actually turned off and came back on as i wrote this lol
im not proud of yelling at people to get on flank
but really i enjoy tf2 and the competitive side is great, i just wish that more people played.
jesus christ this is RIGHT where i live i hope my dog doesn't die ;~;
lol a spire on badwater.. "!add badwater last"
you might want to link your profile, list past experiences in more detail (what team, what div, what class etc.) along with what times you're able to scrim and what days.
i was just sitting with my team talking to them and i hear the words "dude how many grandmas do you have" and then the answer "i have 63 grandmas right now"
I love this game just for that fucking laugh
scrimshawbotmodelol bl4nk just said it shouldn't have been banned while playing dotooh well if blank said it
I think he was more commenting on how a player who does more dota than tf2 is voicing his opinion concerning a game he doesn't play anymore
KickSnareHatI might be missing something here, but it seems like at least on paper the heavy is one of the only classes that gets almost no benefits from a quick-fix med. It wont make the medic any more mobile and is one of the classes that really needs a full 150% buff to be as effective as possible. Likewise, it doesn't deal enough simultaneous damage to combat the QF uber.
But idk I'm just a peasant
try to kill a heavy being healed by a qf med

ShwanMake sure you are using a dual link dvi cable. For some reason some 120hz monitors don't come with the cable that can actually handle 120hz.
thanks shwan, i think that's his problem. I'm not on the spot with him so a description of how many dots his cable has is all i got, its very confusing.
recently, my friend bought a new monitor.
that one
The option in the control panel resolution to change it from 60hz to 120hz isn't showing up in the drop down menu. Does anyone know a solution to this or am I just being incredibly stupid
edit: the monitor says it doesn't support dvi input http://puu.sh/45IQr.png
I'm not very tech savy should this matter?
pine_beetleAir_pine_beetleI think that all the ubers should charge at the same rate with no building required. I don't understand why a medic should be punished for buffing his team.the reason building is even a thing is valve wanted to encourage healing all of a team rather than just one person. If you want to stick to a heavy and heal him to 450 all day and never buff anyone else, your uber is going to charge slower. The building mechanic is to go around that
It also discourages you from buffing teammates and only heal 1 person on the team to get the maximum rate. Rather than encourage you to keep your whole team buffed.
you need to think of how valve balances the game from a pub standpoint because that's all they give a shit about. It's supposed to encourage healing hurt players instead of just pocketing someone.
