would also like to add that eLevate has an actual pocket soldier (and the best one too) now so they have the potential to take first if they try super hard

I don't think it has to do anything with one event or one person rather, but more with the fact that ESEA has been trashed on occasion including in the whole ESEA vs Cevo fiasco. Was nice seeing people at LAN every once in a while, rip.

shruggerPadfootWhy would you cut the (stat-wise) 2nd best soldier in invite when you have no chance of getting Lansky?You don't pick who you are playing with based solely on stats and who is technically the better player. There are many factors and you can't possibly know without being on(or close to) the team
If he wanted to leave to join mix^ (which I really don't want to be a hoax) that would be different, but the word thrown around was cut.
Anyway, just an opinion. Looking forward to s19 anyway.
This, and just to expand more on what shrugger said, you could get the best player around but he might not be the best fit for the team as personality/cohesion/approach are important factors that must be valued above everything else imo.
When I formed eLevate I picked the people I had most fun playing with and who I thought can/keep improving in the long run so that we would get better together instead of individually. I could say it payed off in the end as we went from #4 to solid #2 throughout the seasons and played the game for fun mainly.
