Defending Spire is up and ready:

Thanks again to d1e` for getting these out so fast!
Done, seemed to bug weirdly though
copy/pasted from ozfortress - as for the reason its been such a long time there are a few - most of which are due to not much interest coming forward to help us record, edit and upload. They are in the progress of getting done now though, and will hopefulyl all be out within the next little while. As for other perks - if you donated and haven't contacted me PLEASE add me on steam and I'll get you sorted out :) http://steamcommunity.com/id/aporia
So, last week yuki and I got together with some help from d1e` and recorded our defending badlands video. The video is currently in the process of being edited and uploaded by d1e`, and will be released in 3 parts as the total length of the video somehow ended up longer than an hour and a half. The first part of the video (Defending badlands middle) is up and ready to go now, and hopefully the next two segments will be ready for release within the next week or so!

As with the last video that we did, please let us know what you think. We are trying to be as thorough as possible with these, which means that for staple (and complex) maps like badlands these videos will be lengthy - hopefully at least some of you get something out of these videos though, even if its just something specific that your team may be having trouble with.
If you feel so inclined please leave some questions either in this thread or on the video also - we'd be more than happy to answer them either in our next video or in a direct reply to you.
I also can't thank d1e` enough for helping us out with these videos - they are getting posted up on his youtube channel so if you like what he's done I'm sure he'd be more than happy for some more subscribers
Thanks
(sorry for necro? :~D)
Sorry for major necro - I bumped the ozf thread about a week ago, and sent out an email to everyone that donated about a change up in the way that I'm trying to get through these, however I realise that a lot of people may have used a separate email account when donating, or just assumed that the email from igg was random spam!
Basically the irc idea flopped because people weren't joining the channel - so we're going to do this the hard way! If you donated PLEASE add me on steam (http://steamcommunity.com/id/aporia) and let me know which email address you used to donate! I'll check the spreadsheet and set you up with the appropriate person (or if its a signing I'll take the wep from you and sort it out for you). If you've decided that you don't want your perk for whatever reason feel free to add me for that too and tell me all about how its-not-you-its-me.
I made a commitment when we started this fundraiser, and I fully intend to get through everyone that adds me (hopefully before uni goes back in around 6 weeks!).
THANKS! (please add me)
p.s - I posted this on ozf already, but if anyone that doesn't have peasant internet would like to help us record + upload our video guides similar to what Chaplain did for our attacking badlands vid please contact me :)
We'd love to come again! Before i49 we were all pretty much feeling done with the game - and while we've had something of an extended break since August (only really playing matches) we're still pretty set on turning up at i52 for more of the best the game has to offer.
One of my biggest regrets is definitely only playing you guys (Epsilon) on gullywash - heading into the event we knew you guys were going to be the team to beat and really wanted a shot to test/prove ourselves in our first real lan event in a bo3 against the top contender - which is one of the reasons that choking so hard in the TCM game still makes me a little unhappy... :P
Anyway - expect to see us there if all goes well. If everything doesn't go as planned, I'm sure I'll make an appearance even if the team doesn't, as I'll be in Europe with the gf anyway :D
I wasn't only referring to the sheep/snow thing - but seeing as you're basically looking at the division from an outsider's perspective most of what you were saying seemed pretty decent, especially with the lower 4 teams. Don't apologise for sharing your thoughts - differences in opinion are inevitable and hardly consequential. :~)
Some... odd opinions. Thanks for doing this though!
fixed, thanks - not sure why it's shortening my link :/

I think I played pretty well overall - there are probably a few quite average games in there somewhere though - especially on badlands(?) against Frenchies where I'm pretty sure I forgot I had a mouse.
-Mike-Is the word 'cunt' a term of endearment in Aussieland?
