LangePlease shut the fuck up dave you have no idea what you are talking about.
Jstn worked incredibly hard on this beta for weeks and made MASSIVE behind the scenes improvements over the previous version. He spent so long cleaning it up and making it run better and your dumb ass thinks it can just disregard his weeks of effort with 30 minutes of fucking around.
It is also still a beta. Neither him nor I are done working on it. Give it time.
I can't find where to edit the color of the damage text. When you hit someone damage text appears on top of their head, for example -73 or something. I want to find that so I can edit its color. Does anyone know what it is called / where it is located? Assuming resources/ui
TwitchTVJohnbadgersTwitchTVJohnbadgersTwitchTVJohnIf you can possibly wing the 3570k and/or 660ti power edition, I'd recommend that. PSU is cutting it pretty close as well.
this is a budget gaming computer, 660ti is like freaking $300 for a gpu alone
229 for 660, 299 for 660ti power edition. 70 dollar difference for performance equal to a 670/680. If 70 dollars takes something out of the "budget" range, you should probably save more money. A 660 will be dated next year. 660ti will allow you to skip the next generation.
Of course, a new video card means a bigger power supply, but you can find a solid 600w (which can safely power a 660ti PE) for fairly cheap. Skimping on major parts to meet "budget" is foolish. Your budget should be whatever is best in a general price range, and you should save enough to match the top of that price range. Buying something now with the intention on upgrading it just means you spend significantly more money in the long run.
i can eventually upgrade the graphics card..
Why would you spend 200 on a video card now and 300 later to upgrade when you could just save for a little longer and spend 300 now? How can you justify that? I don't understand the thought process of people who build saying "well in 4-5 months I'll save some more and upgrade it."
Why? Wait a month and save money.
i only spent about 150 dollars on the gtx 650 ti, and i'm going to be keeping it for 1-2 years at least, i've been saving money for awhile and it isn't like i'm 20 years old and have a good paying job
YankeeWhat team do you think is in the most dire financial situation? I want all teams to make it to LAN, but realistically can only contribute to one.
probably chess club i guess :I
hi
ill brb gotta -frag
you cant just get tips and they automatically work flawless, you gotta practice them
but one other thing is if you get close enough to them circle strafe them it is hard for them to aim for you if you're either jumping around their head of circle strafing them
seanbuds nerd voice is hilarious
Geknaiirbadgersif you're aiming with your own mouse as scout, you're most likely doing it wrongI own a decent scout v scout and scout v demo mindset. But when it comes to soldiers, how would I approach that in an open/closed setting? I notice carnage sometimes jumps when fighting soldiers but others like Clockwork would jump around them a lot.
almost 99% of scouts aim with their movement
no one can really help you improve your dm except yourself by simply playing the game.
it helps to have a good mind set though
dont jump alot you land alot more shots also charge them, realistically a scouts job isnt to take down soldiers, because a soldier who knows what he is doing will kill a scout. but if you really have to fight one i'd say height advantage, jumping on objects where a soldier can't spam splash damage on you, and if there's none of that sometimes you can charge into them and kill them, cause as clockwork says they don't expect you to be so "full hardy".
