Rosters need to be updated, caster coming in hot
flufuberchainI'm sitting here waiting for my animators' to hand me in animations for a Saxxy entry literally due in just hours and it is taking all of my SHEER WILLPOWER to not enter a state of panic.Good luck I really hope you win!
I couldn't do it. I couldn't help carry my team to a proper Saxxy that almost certain could have won Extended due to the landscape of how the Saxxy's this year is basically a bunch of bored pro animators as well as people trying to do different things after Valve killed the time limit from 5 to 7 minutes and encouraged last minute videos. I tried so fucking hard - but in the end, I couldn't pick up the slack that people gave me.
I also guess some people could not deliver on the craziest fucking deadlines that I'm so (terribly) used to delivering on when I told people we could do it since I was used to doing it. I put four animators on one scene last night in a desperate attempt to finish, but we really rushed it and fucked it due to poor organization. That team deserves to be treated better and I resolve to do that since our project is continuing as a non-Saxxy project.

aroseI know this is a sensitive issue and all, but if you have a problem with someone saying a word that offends you or whatever, please tell them you have a problem instead of just bottling it up so that nothing changes and we get what we have now.
Except when people like him do there are still people attempting to justify their ooopsies because they don't want to realize they're being offensive and would rather say that it's their right to freedom of speech or some terribly miseducated bullshit, like they're allowed to say one fucking word just because they don't want to be left out on why that race is allowed to use that word like "wait why are you so offended at me for using it your people say it all the time if anything you're insulting yourself" or that Lord knows if shit like I get upset at being called MRSSLIN happens that lol I'm being too sensitive stop being so politically correct get over it xD
EDIT:
Where did you download the map? If you downloaded it from the workshop, you're going to have to unpack it in a specific way that I'm looking for to link up, otherwise if it's from anywhere else e.g. TF2Maps what might be going on is there's some entity that SFM doesn't recognize and thus crashes due to that.
Young Justice is coming back which makes me feel good
but Teen Titans Go still exists over Teen Titans which did not make me feel good
pendawhere and when was the interview with redeye?
We filmed ReDeYe's interview at ESL New York in a hallway since Barclay's security was unforgivably strict on where we were able to film. Here's a photo Dashner took while we were filming.

I'd like to give everybody an update on the progress of Ready Up since 4 months ago when the project was announced. With the help of Marketplace.tf, we were able to fly out Tagg and I to film Multiplay's i58 for coverage. We've managed to gather some fantastic B-roll, in which some were featured in emkay's i58 Highlight Movie. I'd like to thank Tagg for all the footage he managed to get at i58 with the technical restrictions we had; our LAV mics didn't ship from the rental company, so we had to borrow Ash and Arie's stuff. I'd also like to thank Arie and Bones for their own footage that they took at the event.
We also decided to film Tip of the Hats footage for interviews with some prominent production people, as well as figureheads or former figureheads of the competitive Team Fortress 2 community. Some time later, Dashner and I flew out to ESL New York for a CS:GO tournament - and mind you, this was supposed to be our goddamn vacation. But we realized we could film some interviews with some figures of note in the eSports world - figures who understand TF2. Here's a sample reel Dashner made of Sadokist and Na'Vi with our footage. There's 2 more events related to competitive TF2 that's coming up that we want to cover and get important interviews for: Esports' Arena's Rewind! to check out the first NA LAN for 2017, and Blizzcon to get some classic history to mix things up.
This is where I wanted to update people the most on: the focus from this being strictly a production-related documentary has shifted to a much grander picture. As a result, I'm renaming the tagline from Ready Up: Producing Competitive Team Fortress 2, to Ready Up: Competitive Team Fortress 2. I realized it when I was interviewing Bloodsire that there's more to TF2 than just the players or the LAN productions.
If I had to best sum it up without giving too much away, this will be a retrospective that highlights the strength of the 2015-2016 years of competitive Team Fortress 2 - with a structure I have called Four C's. Given that this game has also survived on the overabundance of forced alliteration, we figured it was appropriate.
These Four C's are:
These C's are the current storytelling structure of how we'd like to tell Ready Up. Community and Competition would focus on events such as DHS, i58, and Rewind. Charity would focus on Tip of the Hats. Contrast would focus on ESL NY and Blizzcon. Every interview and every piece of B-roll that we've filmed, every event that we've managed to cover or that has been brought about by TF2's community, would rotate around these Four C's to come together to tell the story about why Team Fortress 2 is the FPS underdog in the eSports world.

Again, thank you to everybody involved in this project, including Geel and Marketplace.tf, our camera crew, and the people who graced us with such insightful interviews. Thank you as well to everybody who continues to support this project - TF2 means so much to many of us, and if this documentary taught me anything through the struggles, it's that it has helped in many ways that not everybody might know. I want to make sure more people know.
Getawhaleexcept the go-karts those sucked
I'm gonna have to escort you off the premises again how dare you
Can somebody level with me on what the advantages would be to pick Samantha over Ether Rex? Like how much more Special pays off for being Special compared to having a thicker skin? I need to be educated on the strats.
