#12 RSI stretches help! in Q/A Help

https://i.imgur.com/Wyc5z9y.png

I figured it out eventually (not sure about kidder) since I had a deprived childhood that never had "can you do the Batman goggles" as a trick kids asked each other to do

I've found some of these help a lot for ulnar stretching, you really feel this one in particular if you've got cubital tunnel/ulnar nerve problems rather than wrist/carpal nerve or tendon problems.

EDIT: The maple syrup incident has two articles now. This is it, maple syrup chugging is the Sideshow legacy that will eclipse the bull penis, the cat food, the fucking weird mayo quorn fisted baguette thing, and the Carolina reaper.

#12 MAJOR TF2 update for 10/19/18 (Scream Fortress X) in TF2 General Discussion

Scream Fortress and Smissmas is usually when the item, map, and taunt creators grind it out, and I'm glad that people got stuff in this year rather than Valve not telling any content creators last year that nothing was getting in after they all worked on Halloween update stuff ROFL. I had friends who worked on Monster Bash and Cursed Cove, happy that their stuff was accepted and it's really cool to see their models and voice acting officially in the game now.

#29 TOTH 2018 Appreciation thread in TF2 General Discussion

Thank you for all the shoutouts, everybody! It's great to see the people still keeping up with the show supporting us with kind and encouraging words each year, not just for Tip of the Hats but for COSI. Our donors helped break our 2015 record by raising $230,000 this year and in total, we've almost raised 1 million dollars for Camp One Step since TotH's first event in 2013. Donations close on October 20th, I've posted a bit more on the official stickied thread here for anyone interested.

A big shoutout to the staff I worked with both online and offline, particularly to the prod team, social & visual media teams, and art/animation team. Jasbutts, Stevebud, and both Ryans (Krunk & Loris): y'all rock. I love these people I work with and they've all worked so hard, I'm glad to be a part of this production by their side each year they bring me on.

Big, BIG ups to Lange during the power outage on Day 3. I have never seen or experienced anything like that and I am glad I was there as he figured things out and we brought the TotH stream back to life within less than 5 minutes. (Shoutout to Jill for shouting that out in-game too when we brought everything back up.)

#14 Tip of the Hats 2018 in TF2 General Discussion

On behalf of Tip of the Hats, thank you to everyone who helped us out last week to not only break the record in 2015 (which was around $205,000) by raising over $230,000 this year, but to those of you that overall helped us raise over $970,000 (that's almost 1 million USD, we're almost there) for Children's Oncology Services Inc since TotH's first event way back when they started in 2013.

Thank you to COSI for what they help provide for youth fighting with cancer or who have survived cancer. We are happy to raise money for your charity each year and we're glad we could help fund some campers, as well as an elevator for accessibility at the campgrounds. Thank you for bringing on some campers this year to the venue, it was inspiring to hear them speak about their experiences and to see them keep fighting.

This has been Tip of the Hats' most successful year in terms of raising money for Camp One Step. It's been great not just to see newcomers help support our cause, but fans who grew up with Tip of the Hats coming back to donate after saying they finished school or got a new job, and familiar faces from the TF2 community who come by each year to watch our show.

Donations will still be open until October 20th for those of you who would still like to donate to Camp One Step. You can donate cash or items at the donation link, and receive an in-game medal depending on how much you've donated through Paypal and Scrap.tf.

Profits made from our merch purchases such as our 2018 & Legacy shirts & hoodies on Teespring are also still available. Additionally, if the shirts or the hoodies aren't your thing, we also have snapbacks and beanies, custom designed lanyards, mugs, enamel pins, SFM posters, and stickers on our shopfront. Profits from these purchases will also go towards Camp One Step and sales will open until October 20th.

Once again, thank you to everyone who's supported this year's Tip of the Hats! We couldn't have done it without you guys, and we hope you enjoyed the show this year.

#36 TF2 medal designs (favourite/least favourite) in TF2 General Discussion
Mitch_We were simply sent the design and that was that.

It shouldn't have stopped at "that was that", the next thing that should have happened is the artist and modeler were told to add each other. The thing is this situation has happened more than once. In terms of workshop etiquette, the concept artist SHOULD be on the contributors list. Your middleman should have sent the concept artist to the modeler or vice-versa to put into the contributors list (assuming the assets being used are brand new and not borrowed from anything already accepted into Valve). It's courtesy, it gives credit where credit is due.

When I do middleman communication, I ALWAYS make sure to tell the modeler who to add such as staff and the artist, or vice-versa where I tell staff and the artist to add the modeler - because that's my responsibility as the liaison. There's one time where I have fucked this up for a medal, and it was because I didn't communicate on time that they thought I dropped out. I tried to follow up before the entries were finalized too. I'm making sure it's never happening again.

There's one incident (I wasn't involved in it) where a logo and medal concept artist was not actually told to add the modeler or vice-versa by the middleman, and only 2 years later realized they had not been contacted to be added to the workshop entry - let alone credited for the design anywhere. Valve couldn't give them a Self-Made at that point since they had to be part of the contributors before the finalization. I don't even know if they were given a Genuine as a "whoops sorry dude".

There's no way artists know about medals being finalized unless they are told, "we're finalizing now, add this dude, they modeled your concept". Some modelers will ask you who made the concept art, otherwise they assume whoever is talking to them is the artist.
