#6 balancing audio in Off Topic

I often adjust my mumble volume in the volume mixer based on the varying annoyance level of the people I'm in a channel with (so in lobbies/shitty pug groups I turn the volume down super low so I don't have to hear retards talking too much). If I'm listening to music during pugs and whatnot I sometimes find it relaxing to completely turn off in-game audio, though it obviously makes it harder to know what's going on.

#9 Good FPS, but doesn't feel like it in Q/A Help

have you tried capping your fps at a lower value? could be that you're dipping below your cap too frequently and that's what's making it feel laggy

#137 MAJOR TF2 update for 10/28/15 (Scream Fortress 7) in TF2 General Discussion
flame? tf2 fps is mostly dependent on clock speed and core utilization, lowering your graphics on certain setups requires more processing power than leaving them at their intended levels.

its definitely 'arguable'

I must have misinterpreted your first comment, thought you meant that the gunmettle update was hurting frames.
the aesthetics changes from dx8 and lower graphics is a much bigger factor than fps imo

flamedx8 is arguably worse for fps gain since gun mettleVooperflamewhy are you using comanglias config and dx8 with a 970
Less clutter, less distractions. Simple, clean graphics are best for multiplayer FPS games - save the eye candy for single player.

did even read what he said?
also confused at how fps gain can be 'arguable'
not much room to dispute its either better or worse frames

#217 TF2 benchmarks in TF2 General Discussion
VanaYo lets get some people doing benchmarks gaining/losing fps from the update so we can figure out why.

I'll do one when I get home but my guess is that dx8 got a more extreme fps boost due to not seeing skins. I play on dx8 with a i7 4770k and my frames are higher and got more consistent with the update.
edit nvm looks like it definitely is dependent on the setup haha

XanAs it turns out, Head2Head comes before Rounds For. Assuming most of the people end up with the same record.

Does this take forfeit wins into account?

HidiAs expensive as it is if you want it legitimately;

Adobe Premiere

Adobe Premiere and the rest of the CS/CC are all you will ever need for anything ever.

This is pretty on point, especially now that cc is a thing and you don't need to pay for upgrades every time adobe updates their software suites. I bought the production suite (ps, ae, premiere, etc.) cs5 in 2010 and less than a year later when they released cs5.5 and planned for cs6 I realized that they wanted me to pay a couple hundred bucks to upgrade (with no student discounts) on top of the ~$500 I had already paid. Needless to say this was when I started pirating their products. Now with the 'creative cloud' you can just pay the same monthly price and no extra charge going from cc 2014 to 2015 for example. So if you buy it now it will last more than a year before going obsolete, which is pretty nice.
