I'm not really up to date with all the faceit stuff. I'm wondering how the Professional tier will work, especially in EU. Do people apply for it or do some admins just add whatever ETF2L Prem players to that tier?
When I lived in Asia I was co-owner of a fairly large spy clan there. The owner told me I should try getting to "Platinum".
Obviously he meant I should try playing UGC Plat at the the time, but I looked up "Platinum" on youtube and watched a bunch of 6s with the US player Platinum in it.
Half a year later after trialing as Spy and Pyro for a bunch of HL teams that died, I played a 6s pug as Scout and got like 500dpm on viaduct and this guy adds me for his 6s team.
My performance hasn't really changed. Running 500+fps in offline, 200+ in 6s and ~150 in pubs with a GTX 1060 and i7 6700k with cowmanglia's dx9 config.
Did you make any changes to program settings and/or installed anything since the update that could be affecting performance?
If anything else fails you can try using different configs and look up tutorials to increase FPS in games.
Edit: also look at your CPU and GPU core temps, maybe they are thermal throttling for whatever reason?
Its a bug that happened after pyro update
Aiming was (and still is tbh) always my weakest aspect of Scout. Around half a year ago I decided to commit to getting better aim and I experimented a lot.
Personally I can recommend playing like 15 mins of DM and like a jump map or so a day. Then as you get used to it keep increasing the time you spend playing DM.
I also spend quite some time playing PUGs and scrimming. What can also help is mercing for good teams after you're warmed up.
After a few months I play 1-2 hours of DM a day depending on free time and then I scrim 2 maps and play a few pugs. It's significantly increased my aim skill!
Ultimateis having a PC better than having a laptop for gaming or does it really not matter
For TF2, often yes for the same price. Especially if you can build your own PC or select parts. Since its a much more CPU-heavy game you can spend more on the processor and less on the graphics card. I see that a lot of "gaming laptops" (especially budget ones) save on processing power but have a more powerful graphics card.
glad this is fixed

Doom1goblinIt's not edgy to be disappointed in the update, but is edgy to personally insult the small development team we're lucky enough to have even bothered to stick around. Fuck off.
You're acting as if they don't get paid for it. It took them a year to put out a mediocre update stuffed with community made content. They said it will be size of 2-3 major updates, but it' clearly fucking not.
Knowing this, it doesn't excuse personally insulting the devs.
At least I didn't expect anything and wasn't still disappointed. The pyro changes seem decent and that's pretty much what I cared about anyways.
Sure, matchmaking is a bummer but it won't really influence my personal enjoyment of the game.
