So the way it works is that the winner of this match will go on to the grand finals. Once the winner of the lower bracket final is decided, then they will move also to the grand finals and fight with the winner of this match.
The advantage that the team here gets is that they will have a Bo3 advantage. If the team that comes from the lower bracket wins a Bo3 against the winner of this match, they will force another Bo3 series and they'll have to fight another Bo3. If the winner of this match wins the first Bo3 in the Grand Finals, then they automatically win.
tl;dr winner of this match instantly wins grand finals if they win the first Bo3
