I was just about to post this here, but think beat me to it :D
dflameany screenshots?
I have yet to make new ones, though nothing changed visually from 2.1.6 except this (even got a screenshot of the new class menu \o/ ):
- new spec HUD
- smaller class menu
- CP cap count now only shows a number (removed the x) and is bigger
- thinner damage indicators (red stripes when someone hits you)
- decreased shadow offset on the following elements:
* last damage done
* sticky count
* TargetID HP numbers
- smaller disguise menu without the key images behind the numbers
There are other visual changes of course, which are all fixes or inarguably needed though (borders being too thick on some elements (Engie menus etc), charge meters not being white sometimes etc).
mghughlaurieabout fucking time
broesel @ ETF2L in response to a similar commentShut the hell up dude, it's not like I'm getting paid for this or anything, I'm doing this in my free time.
MR_SLIN[edit] i just tried it and i don't like it. is that bad?
Elaborate pls?
OdissiusDamn, are there any screenshots of it? I hope he didn't goof it up, BroeselHUD has always been the best due to its simplicity and cleanliness.
No, I did not "goof it up", as mentioned above I barely changed any major visual details but I improved it in many places, fixed some stuff, added support for gamemodes, missing elements etc.
OdissiusHe made none of the medic changes/fixes that I suggested to him. :(
I didn't implement any of these because quite frankly they're all bullshit: You can't simply move the heal target up there, this panel is also used when someone heals you, so this would result in a medic basically covering up your view whenever he's healing you. Same with the regular TargetID being moved above the crosshair really - this is the same panel as for all other classes. The ubercharge bar is already big enough and why would you increase the HP numbers on the targetIDs? It doesn't change the fact that there's no cross on them, which is the best quick measure for medics. The oldschool targetIDs have a cross AND HP numbers though, so why don't you just use these?
