I will look into the notifications issue and eventually fix it. Strange that it works for me though :/

Btw, I made another ninja update: I removed the background from the disposable sentries and renamed the 2nd Readme tab to make it a bit clearer what it contains.

BenroadsIs there a way to revert to the old font that was used for the fps counter (cl_showfps 1)

Delete resource/sourcescheme.res. This will also revert the netgraph to default though.

Edit: I ninja-updated 2.6, this is now included in the Readme's FAQ section.

Edit 2: This also reset the download counter NOOOO :(

Quick question, whenever I receive an item, I get the ping noise but I don't see the flashing icon that lets me check it. Is there a way to turn it on?

randomirishladI'm having a problem whenever theres a hud notification it says I have new events or something and when I go to the main menu theres nothing there and I have to be in server to press my accept key. And the little mail icon that shows new community news is gone too probably a bug in MainmMenuOveride.res and Gamemenu.res, it works fine on yA_Hud.

Works for me.

erkstonI hope replacing the font files with the old ones will restore the non-proportional numbers :D

KickSnareHatevery time I try to run the installer it says that the zip file is invalid even though im pretty sure its the right zip file....

I changed the folder structure in the zip file, that's why it doesn't work anymore. Nevertheless, the installer is pretty broken in other aspects aswell so I'd not recommend using it at all until imp4ct releases the new version.

changelog:

- changed the Surface numerals to a set of custom, proportional ones
- properly centered the HUD crosshairs
- added the Wings crosshair
- added the crosshair that this HUD deserves, but not the one it needs right now
- modified the netgraph to take up less width (full credit goes to INsane)
- re-added the transparent health cross (now works on sv_pure 2 aswell)
- vastly improved the appearance of the HP cross border
- added a dropshadow to the damage numbers
- slightly reduced the damage numbers fade time (from 1.33s to 1.2s)
- reworked the Readme file (added FAQ, HUD crosshair names etc)
- reworked the notifications on the main menu
- fixed 3-digit scoreboard kills getting cut off
- increased the size limit for HUD crosshairs from 32 to 50
- made the Ubercharge pulse smoother
- added support for the Halloween "Wheel of Fate"
- fixed the "marked for death" and milk icon placement
- edited the HTML MOTD panel to match the regular MOTD panel
- added support for disposable sentries in MvM
- fixed the rating label on the MvM end-round panel
- added the MvM buyback label

Shoutout to Bluthund for helping me find an exploit to integrate custom materials, to zimmy for helping me out with the Readme and of course all the people who helped me with testing!

I worked on 2.6 last week, at this point there's little left to do. Don't expect it to be released anytime next week though, it might be ready in about 2-3 weeks. I also have to coordinate the launch with imp4ct, which might delay it a week more as we both don't have much free time on our hands.

edit: This works on sv_pure 2 without problems. It's not a HUD that's intended for actual gameplay or anything, neither is it a new HUD I'm working on. It's basically a showcase for what will be technically possible when my new HUD version's getting released and also to provoke some thoughts on future HUDs. Don't expect me to work further on this, though I am of course willing to pass the source files on to someone who'd like to make a complete HUD out of this (once broeselhud 2.6 and with it the method that makes this possible is released).

I don't have much (read: any) time for that stuff. I've already quit TF2 1½ months ago, but I'll still finish this update in the next weeks.

What probably no one has noticed so far (even though 2 screenshots already show this :D) is an exploit that will be included in version 2.6 and which will pave the way for a whole new generation of TF2 HUDs. Consider it a last gift to the TF2 community.

No I'm not. What I was thinking about though was an option to switch back to the old font easily and I think I already found a solution, just didn't try it out yet.
