#13 streplay.tv- anyone seen this? in TF2 General Discussion

If somebody book a server in the #tf2scrim channel they will get all that for free and this is available right now. It might not be as simple but it isn't harder than typing !book in the channel, once the scrim is over, waiting 2 minutes and heading over to http://stats.atf2.org/

I fixed a couple issues on the booking bot and there shouldn't be any bugs remaining. If you guys still have issues then keep reporting them to me.

#20 G-lined? in TF2 General Discussion

I am still working with Gamesurge to fix that issue, and don't worry about the virus part, nobody's going to be infected for using atf2.org

I asked Gamesurge to increase the connection limit, they did it a while ago. I am still investigating with Gamesurge to find out what triggered the Gline.

Don't worry about it, it's not your host that is G-Lined but the atf2.org host and I am investigating what is going on regarding this.

I tuned up the !scramble command, I now inform the people about how many votes are needed and I also lowered the number of votes needed from 4 to 3 (I assume that 4 was a little bit too high). Hopefully that helps us to get better PUGs!

ThomasduhtrainApparently #tf2mix is a complete shit fest as of late? ... I played like 4 of them yesterday just to see

In the same sentence you are using these words: "complete shit fest" + "as of late", then a few sentences later you clearly state that your sample is only 4 games from one day.

Obviously the average PUG quality will go down a notch when a major site like TF2Lobby is broken, coupled with the promotion from the guys from (newbie mixes). I am grateful of all the promotion the guys are doing for us.

If what you are seeking for is high level PUGs then I would recommend you to wait for the captain round with a bigger player pool. Or even better, wait for the next version of the PUG system, you will like it because that's probably the PUG experience you want.

I am working my hardest to promote the channel while at the same time improve / fix everything related to it. In the meantime if you see behaviors you don't like please inform politely the users first and if nothing is done on their part advise an admin. Yesterday I did hang out all day in the channel and nobody reported to me a major event like that, that needs to be reported because an admin has to pass the message.

Here's the feature / bug list I am currently working on for those who are interested: https://github.com/550/tf2ib/issues?state=open

Fruitbooting is amazingly fun dingo, I like it more than skateboarding (which I enjoy too). I used to skateboard a lot when I was in high school.

Here's a short clip with 2 skateboard tricks in it:

I can only skate a couple months per years Drew, I live deep North in Quebec. Fall is cold and wet, winter can be pretty cold. During those times I tend to take it easy and play on the computer.

You live in the US man, there is so many amazing skateparks everywhere, time to move out man. :)

#15 Job interview - Help in Off Topic

What John said, attitude is far more important than a paper (degree), you already past this step anyway if they ask you for an interview. Talk about your passions in the field, talk about your past projects, etc... Listen to the questions and try to be as comfortable as possible.
