I was wondering if anybody experienced the issue again since I applied the patch.

I applied a patch this morning on http://atf2.org/ that should fix the scroll bug that happened in Chrome. This issue has been reported to me by many Chrome users.
If it took that long to fix it was because the bug was very hard to reproduce in a development environment, plus it took me a very long time before I could reproduce it consistently. I contributed back to the main repository and this should improve the QWebIRC project as well: http://hg.qwebirc.org/qwebirc/issue/86/scroll-bug
I'm making a thread to let the people know that it's been fixed now, I assume that some Chrome users did stop using the service because of this issue.
I would recommend you to give a try to the #tf2mix PUGs, it's going to be more competitive and more organized than TF2Lobby. If you want to play more advanced games you can try #tf2.pug.na but at the same time you are never guaranteed to play, this system is kind of harsh on the newer players.
For more information have a look at this group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tf2mix
I think you can also try to get into a private PUG groups where they host the events in Mumble while you sit in a server, these PUGs can be very fun and are the best to meet new people. I could not tell you though which ones are the hot ones at the moment.
Here's some instructions VoodooChow: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tf2mix
This thread is so bad now, I almost feel bad for starting it.
You guys are bringing valid points and it's very appreciated. Personally I appreciate when they are backed up with good arguments like these, they are very helpful because if I don't get those and don't see those issues the system won't see any improvements on these points.
I would like to address one concern that has been said at leas twice in that thread; not being able to add as multiple classes. The reason why the system is built that way is mostly technical but at the same time it has positive aspects so it will stay that way.
BBonkersJust a suggestion but could you make the !captain command only available to players with 100+ games, or something like that then rather what it currently is. This is simply because I believe captains will have a greater knowledge of the players (who is gud, who is bad) by the time they have 100 games or something that high rather then the current limit. This would promote more balanced fair games, that end up turning into shit fests where players go spy on both loosing and winning teams. These shitfests often result in a 30minute nonsense match where the stronger team dances around the weaker team without actually trying.
The captain selection was going to be my next work and it shouldn't take much time to change this. I will favor captains who have a status (invite or surfer) over the other players, and then I will favor the players with a higher number of games.
FZeroOne thing that really needs coded is !forcescramble and !endscramble for admins (something that stops the ability to scramble any more) I've seen to many times where it's completely unfair but no one is scrambling, and on the other side to many people will scramble 10 times just to get the teams they want.
I really want to improve the scrambling process, right now admins can use !force. I will see what I can do here but don't expect any fix in the next few weeks at least.
I am pretty sure that Bape got IP / Steam ID banned. Also, I fixed the !restrict command.
The Steam group I made and the new admin commands I am bringing will help us to have a solid group of admins that are informed of everything.
I got one because of you guys, thanks, I like it a lot. :-)
I just updated #tf2mix with 2 new features and a few fixes.
The main one is the !surf command, this will let the top players to add to a special queue that is going to add them to the next captain game only (24 player list + captain picking). Every invite players, legend or IM players should be authorized to use this command, they just need to ask an admin to receive the special status.
The whole purpose of this command is to increase the level of the captain games while simplifying the tracking of those games.
The second main change is the !report command and the addition of a special channel / Steam group for admins. I made a command (!report) that is posting in our admin Steam group to help the process of having an admin attention.
The other changes are bug fixes and some minor changes (like adding the !list command).
I really like the latest Xubuntu (version 12.10), it's simple, looks clean and works right out off t he box.

That's pretty sweet to see what you guys are doing during the winter. Personally I love that season, I play a lot of hockey, inside and outside. Also, I used to ski and and I was a ski photographer a couple years ago (I quit everything) but I had a lot of fun practicing that sport.
I have a short video of me and my best friend we filmed together during one night at a mountain near my town. Nothing extraordinary, just 2 guys having fun:

Couldn't say. The TF2 servers have been a target of DDOS attacks at least twice lately but I can't really tell if that one hiccup on that server is a DDOS.
The node on which the ATF2 client, #tf2mix Mumble & bot are being hosted is currently having issues.
It looks they are bundling it with something else to create a "new" product so the people can't see the bad reviews it got since nobody has posted a review for the bundle yet.

This is a good news for all of you who have any kind of Linux interest. Valve made the Steam for Linux (beta) open to public. I have been in the closed beta for over a month now and I can tell you this stuff is good if you like Linux.
For those who play in ESEA I would not recommend you to try this out since the ESEA client doesn't work under Linux. Everything else has been very smooth for me, I can tell you I am a satisfied gamer with this setup: http://stats.atf2.org/log/dallas_1355911200_badlands/
marmadukeGRYLLStf2mix has that retarded random team system thing, and you can only add as 1 class. thats why i dont go there
I still plan to code a feature that will let the advanced players to skip the normal games. I just need to find some time to do it.
