Why TF2Center won't die

eeeComangliaEh, TF2center is probably going to die after match making is released from being both lead by imcompetency, less convenient and not be able to rank up.have u ever even PLAYED CS?
like really idk why people just dont even bother to look at the shit that is similar to TF2 and instead just say dumb stuff
If you want to compare it to csgo, then actually think about it.
TF2
tf2c = lowest level
pugme/ESEA pugs = highest level
CSGO
Matchmaking = lowest level (until you get to ~supreme/global)
CEVO pugs = somewhat similar to matchmaking in terms of skill, depending on your rank, obviously.
ESEA pugs = highest level
Matchmaking, if done correctly, should replace tf2c at the low levels. There isn't a need for an external website for the lowest levels of tf2 if matchmaking is good. A smarter idea would be to expand pugme to replicate something like CEVO pugs in csgo if it is needed once matchmaking comes out.
If an external website is needed for the lowest level of tf2, then matchmaking is a failed attempt.
Edit: I forgot about tf2pickup, which is similar to pugme

I don't think anybody doubts that there could be another successful alternative to tf2c, but you have to realize it will be relatively useless in the end with the remaining time before matchmaking. Is there really a point of making a new website, funding money and time that won't be used anymore, in what it seems to be possibly a few weeks/months from matchmaking? I suppose you can say that it's possible matchmaking won't be good, so it could still be used, but the whole point of this website is to provide a transition from pubs to competitive. I can't see a matchmaking system that doesn't provide a transition at the least. Maybe I'm wrong and Valve will manage to mess everything up though.

On the other hand, Fornaught has been incompetently strangling the life out of the hl community for years and years and yet all of y'all still play in UGC, so there's a bit of hypocrisy there (especially when infinite was involved more actively as well).
Are you actually comparing forn and the tf2center admins like masternoob...?

Counting ubers correctly can be difficult/random now. For example, if the other team's med dies, you don't really know if he will be able to pick up the previous medigun before it disappears in 30 seconds. I guess it can take some map knowledge of knowing how long it takes to get from a certain spawn to where he died.

Forefatherhow long do drop weapons last before they vanish? does picking up a weapon then picking up your original weapon reset the cooldown? cause if it does that means you can walk 2 fully loaded rocket launchers around with you when holding

I'm not really sure which yahud I personally have, but it's one of the older ones from 2013 that has never been updated. few things that aren't updated: damage and support on scoreboard, taunt menu, eureka effect menu, at the end of the round it doesn't display the "highest killstreak", killstreak counter doesn't say "streak" and all the new gun-manntle stuff obviously.

It looks dumb but sometimes you just gotta waste the ammo to make sure you can win the post fight if you don't know how bad your uber is.
I've been wanting to make a frag vid of the last 3 seasons of plat, but every cool moment I've had I just remember, "oh wait I was playing heavy" and anything just seems like it had nothing to do with my own personal skill
