DirtyMortNurseyCereal was given mumble admin by one of the admins because they thought he was tsc. As a joke, he then gave admin to all of his friends(including myself but i told him to remove it because i knew that they could get in trouble for it). At which point a couple of the people that he gave admin to(im not going to say who) started linking the channels and banning b4nny(contrary to what your post would have people believe, they did not ban anyone else, only b4nny). Neither cereal, nor any of the people that he gave admin to were screaming into their mics or anything like that. This also lasted the span of 1-2 pugs, not the 12 hours that erynn claimed that cereal was "terrorizing the mumble".cereaII say this on every tf2c thread
just fucking be respectful and play the game under a normal alias and you wont get banned. maybe you ahould have gotten a warning or a shorter ban but cmon you were asking for it

Yes, what cereal did was really stupid and immature. when he was given mumble admin he should have immediately told an admin that he wasnt the real tsc and asked them to take away his powers. But hes a dumb kid and thought it would be funny to give admin to his friends, who then proceeded to mess with people for a bit(although not nearly as bad or for as long as people are claiming). I think he and the other culprits should be punished, but not perma-banned from pugchamp. I also think the retard admin that gave him mumble admin either as a joke, or because they somehow couldn't tell that he wasnt the real tsc should no longer be an admin on the website.
you shouldnt post about a topic if you dont know the full story/are pretending that they did things that had nothing to do with them.
ok i know the full story now and i still think cereal should be banned
and it was fucking awful its was like at least a whole night of pugs

Tmbrthis is exactly why nobody wants to make maps for competitive. so much work and so many hours go into it, and when people like Father Brandon come along, who are very excited to get maps out there and are really willing and open to feedback, its upsetting to see how the community treats them. i get that people don't like the map, but by just leaving in the middle of the game, the mapper doesn't get to see organized play that will help them make it better. maybe if mario party 4 bothered to play or even look at the map before playing, they wouldn't have had such a bad experience.
They also had to deal with config issues which was my fault. I have to set all the cvars manually because they don't work right on serveme and the class limits were broken as well.

I'm not sure how to plan for teams forgetting to show up and cutting so many players mid tournament that their team dies.
If you have suggestions for those situations I'm all ears.
I guess this is a legitimate complaint. A lot of planning and thought went into this. When I was making the tournament and reaching out to teams about 2 weeks ago I talked to 3 or 4 high-IM teams who said they were interested in playing. Also this was before sandblast cut 2/3rds of his roster

meaning that him, fishes, and skull were all capable of losing games to IM teams. With 3/5 invite teams capable of losing to top-IM teams it didn't feel right to push them through groups, and it didn't feel right to give Froyo and EVL byes when they were in the same division as teams not receiving them.
Then none of the IM teams who said they were interested showed up and sandblast's roster got much stronger. With how signups ended up being I should have had all non invite teams compete for the last 3 spots, but I didn't have all the info on signups until 2 days ago really (and the final signup was like 4 hours before the cup started), and I was so busy planning other parts of the tourney that I didn't think to make big changes to the format.
