#95 Any AmericanTF2 people want to meet up or host me? in Off Topic

I'm from Louisville but I can't say you'd be pressed to check anything out here that you'd remember when you left but it all depends when you arrive. If you're here for Derby Week then you're in for a real treat. But if you just need a place to rest just private message me a week ahead and I will see about helping you.

If partying is your thing, 4th Street Live has a lot if great bars under one plaza.

If you like cars, the Corvette Factory and museum is about 2.25 hours south of Louisville. You can witness the C6-C7 models be built in front of you and test drive one. If it's too far, there's probably a brass tractor pull and car show at Freedom Hall that weekend. Though it's never good unless it's Carl Casper's Auto Show.

Oh, and worth noting if you like Go Karts we have two fantastic tracks to check out. We have the nation's biggest outdoor track with decent karts 30m south of the river. Then a shorter drive holds a competitive track with the fastest tier of karts you'll be legally allowed to drive anywhere on an indoor track. It's a fun track too, don't have to let off the gas at all but for two turns and you can drift pretty easily.

If you like science and art, the Frazier museum is a 5 story building owned by a wealthy individual who collects and displays artifacts from all kinds of timelines. It is a definite if you like to look at old stuff. I saw the Da Vinci display and it was a very eye opening experience.

As for sports, there's Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and it is usually hosting a good football game later that week. Then there's baseball, the Louisville Bats. They haven't won a game in like 7 years and the concessions suck so don't go if anybody asks you to. The Louisville Slugger Museum is neat though.
The KFC Yum Center is a very nice arena too, probably some concert going on or basketball game worth seeing.
Can't think of anything else like hockey or soccer you can watch here.

We have a mega cavern too. You can go on a zip line. Underground. In the dark. Fairly cheap too.

I'd say that's about all there is to see you'd have time for. We have tons of great restaurant choices. Pizza, wings, burgers, sushi, noodles, fish, deep fried anything, you ask for it we've got something you need.

#101 best way to stop eating in Off Topic

Best way to stop eating? Take things slow for awhile, do your chores early in the day and have morsels in between them. Then fast with the remaining time. Gets you hungry and motivated to the point where you become cognizant of your eating behavior. If you still feel the need to binge, you need to continue working on self discipline. I do this and I've never been overweight or underweight.

#2 Terrible fps in matchmaking in Q/A Help

Chances are we are just as clueless as you are if this is a new thing since the matchmaking update.

But try updating your drivers, it always helps.

#140 TF2: remember _____? in TF2 General Discussion

Low/mid at best

A witch hunt thread every other day after people got stomped in DM. Hoagie, sg, dLayy. Well we know two of those three actually cheated lmao. I remember the days most of the scrubs were on a hunt for myself and anonemouse when we played all modes religiously trying to take down Yz50.

#32 Programming language in Off Topic

If you want to learn it for fun, just go with Python. It's a very lightweight, beginner friendly language that even has a few advantages over your typical 3rd generation language. The syntax is much more like a speaking language over Java, the next language I would recommend you investigate. The syntax is the whole reason I recommend it, because you won't spend a lot of energy fixing Bracket errors or missing semicolons. There's just less to have to pack into it to make it work the same as Java and getting to understand where you can modify data and how is when you'll really kick it into high gear.

#58 remedy vac??? (haven't seen any posts about this) in TF2 General Discussion
SpaceCadetEvery time someone gets accused of hacking, there is always a comment saying "I seen him play at LAN, so he doesn't cheat".

It is literally the dumbest reasoning to make for defending a possible cheater. Just because he did not hack at LAN doesn't mean it isn't hacking at home with nobody around. I really wish people would stop saying this stupid shit because it means absolutely nothing that you played with him at LAN and he did not hack at LAN.

I'm only saying it to add to the I've got multiple occasions I've dealt with him to give him the benefit of the doubt. And how can it be stupid if there's no real definitive 'smart' way of knowing its an authentic ban besides having an employee investigate and conduct a report for us? There isn't any. I only vouch that it's a false positive because those do happen and from what I know about him he doesn't cheat and nothing about him makes me think he does.

And wtf I'm not dFlame
