RawkstarI know I'm a bit late, but I'm so pissed about what happened to Oberyn...like, he was probably one of the coolest characters out there. And then...well, lets not talk about it....
Does anyone have any idea what idea Martin was trying to get across with the story about Orson and the beetles? I heard a silly little theory which states that George R.R. Martin is Orson, and all of our favorite characters are the beetles who he continues to kill over and over without end. Still though, it was an interesting little scene, trying to decode it...
pretty sure that whole scene about orson wasn't in the books at all; was just kind of a metaphor with a bunch of different interpretations.
