No one does Photoshop live updates anymore except for maybe the most basic shit. Nodecg.
Also maybe try partnering with the several already existing coverage organizations who would love to cover more intermediate if only they had the staff.
Your post doesn't exactly instill confidence in the professionalism of your organization.
Either have a pay grade set up or acknowledge that this is tf2 and like 4 people total get paid to do their thing and even then only sometimes. Either this is a paid position (per piece/hourly/flat per diem) or its a volunteer. It's okay to say you would like to pay people a little if it becomes viable. Hint: it won't. Otherwise just say that this is a volunteer position.
What work have you done besides getting a buddy to be a "PR representative" (if you find out what that means tell me so I can finally figure out what Kevinispwn does for tf2stadium) and changing the name from "Rai"? Do you have a producer? Sponsors interested? Casters? Schedules planned? Liaised with teams to start developing relationships?
Sorry to put you through the grinder but I'm tired of half assed projects being put together and abandoned because I don't think people realize the dedication it takes to even be slightly involved with a major organization. This looks like you put very little background work or thought into what it means to run a production crew other than " tftv's shit looks nice, we want that but in red instead please " without even really knowing what technology is actually in use. That shit took years to really get to the point you see now.
I hope I'm wrong about you.
I always really enjoyed watching seagull do his thing, really made roamer into an artform.
are there any pick ups going on?
I'm on my way ladies and boys. Cu@. I'll be the tired looking one with a limited number of cheesecake brownies to share.
EnterimCaydaHnng, this LAN is so close to me
[...]
I guess I'll plan on going. If anyone needs a ride from the Northern Virginia/DC area[...]
120 miles is "so close"? I wish I knew that when I decided against attending GXL because I thought a 45 minute drive was too far out of the way.
Lol
I'm coming in from Indianapolis.
120 miles is super close.
Pros: Kevin is not a known tournament abandoner
Cons: way less drama
A scoreboard that is as minimal and as transparent as possible. I spend non trivial amounts of the game with it open and one I can play through is vital.
Super glad content is being made, but the article suffers from a lack of editing. I think if the writer just went back and re-read before posting, it would be incredibly awesome.
Great interview though and good rundown of the event.
Jojoxan jojo blackheart and redshirt going. Possibly lf 2 more for a 6's team?
Put me in coach
I would really prefer to carpool there, I can drive, the trek is just a little lonely with no other nerds in the car. Indianapolis to Mechanicsburg anywhere along the i70 corridor
There are tons of steam games that work including all major valve titles, LoL works great on Wine, as do most blizzard games iirc. Not sure about OW.
Hmm, I really want to go, do some coverage, maybe a little live analysis/newbie streaming? (if the stream overlords would allow such a thing). Dem plane tickets though :(
Perhaps add in some way to link ESEA accounts so that you can get a little icon on your profile if you are Open, IM or Invite. Seems sometimes this elo system means people who play more pugs but are like mid/high open get picked ahead of me :(
I run 3-4 servers on an NFO VPS system (VDS is more expensive but even better), and I could not be happier with the performance. That is how you will get the most performance, but tragicservers or a standard nfo server tend to have the best performance of the pre-setup systems.
