Unfortunately I believe all STV servers are LAN only :/

If anyone is looking for a medic (or bad scout/solly), or roommate, I am still looking.
Also, I am coming from Indianapolis on Friday, if anyone needs a lift from Indiana, Central Ohio (or Cinci, its only a small detour) or anywhere along i70/i76 lmk.
Is anyone looking for someone to split a room with? Would be nice to not have to drop that kind of cash to not slum on the LAN floor.
I might go, would be coming from Indianapolis with room for rides. If anyone needs a medic or anything else but demo for a team, let me know :)
Also, if anyone wants to room share, would be awesome.
Infinite Jest
Stiff
Fahrenheit 451
The Satanic Verses (on humble bundle right now for audiobook)
Catch-22
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (mixed reviews, but I loved it and found it heartbreakingly funny and intensely moving. The movie sucks, skip that.)
Hey all,
First off, I would just like to say that I know I have a reputation of being an autist team ruiner asshole, well deserved. I have tried to move beyond that in the year or so I have been away doing things like focusing on school and getting a real job. I feel that I am a very different person now and just ask that if you are looking for a pocket or a medic, give me a shot.
Moving beyond that, I am looking for a team as a medic in ESEA high open/IM (I think... I am not really sure how skill levels have shifted with the introduction of Main) or as a pocket in mid to highish open. Similar skill level in CEVO, wherever that is. I can call but am rusty.
What I can bring you:
Heals (or feet shooting)
Scout buffs (OP AS SHIIIT)
The knowledge of what right mouse button does
The ability to pay my own league fees/help out with server/mumble
Willingness to work on improvement as a team and as an individual
experience of 4 seasons ESEA (2 open 2 IM... bottom of IM is still IM >< ) and another 3 of etf2l
streaming!
What I want a team to bring for me:
Fun times
Serious play/effort at improvement
stable roster
good games
"normal" scrim times (Sun-thurs or so, 9-12 or so)
you can contact me at steamcommunity.com/id/shdwpuppet
its also linked in my teamfortress.tv profile.
Thanks everyone!
I want to be either a physician that goes on scene of either major trauma or bigger medical emergencies (CDC Emergency Response medical officer), something exciting like that.
If I could get a job in rhetoric, that would be pretty cool too, though those don't really exist beyond academia and I dont want to be in school my whole life :/
Tests I have done have indicated that streaming on windows 8 is faster and easier, though some compatibility issues had to be worked out with my setup.
The biggest differences I noticed were when pushing the system past what I would ever need for streaming, I got around a 10% increase in performance overall. If you can already stream with ease, windows 7 will be more than enough, but if you have a computer that struggles to stream or you want to stream really CPU intensive applications, windows 8 might give you an ROI worth upgrading for.
If you have an OS, and dont need a moderate power increase, not worth it. If you don't have an OS, no reason to not go to 8.
the games are awesome. I am hosting a viewing party at one of the biggest screens imaginable.

That is how I esports :D
stark mate, I have to agree with ukm and the rest here, gpit has always been my favorite map to watch and cast, we have had three ESEA finals in a row now with classic gpit matches in them and the map is just fun.
The problem with eu gravelpit has always been in how the rounds/matches are set up, not in the map itself.
Though some of the changes in layout/removing places to get stuck etc is a great idea.
gl though, always willing to try out new changes to see if they are an improvement.
I am a currently unemployed medic, though I do a ton of volunteer work on ambulances and in emergency rooms.
and a bio/premed student. 0 fun allowed with that degree. 0 fun.
Tapleythe 12 computers arrived an hour before the games were due to start but we got there in the end.
Easily best part of the LAN.
I am going to try and be there again, cost a ton but I had a fantastic time.
end of reality has london servers and supports eXtv. I really like their chicago servers and have never had a problem with any of their locations.
eoreality.net with code extelevision for 10% life of server iirc.
Also, CS:GO is apparently winning the FPS vote by two. BY TWO.
Two of you lazy mofos better be coming to my lan.
there are 35 seats left. 35 SEATS LEFT LADIES.
If you havent signed up, do so now. Now now, typically only 2-4 people from the waitlist can get in and I can never guarantee walk-in space.
If anyone from TF2 is going and wants me to make sure you all get space together, let me know, I might be able to get you guys a private table :D
If you have to miss it, dont worry, there is another one in the fall and next spring there will be one twice this big that I am hoping we can talk about cash prizes for.
