what about a mouse pad hooky? My G-TF Spawn has worked great for me.
just ran into Stevo on tf2center.com and offered to post-produce cast the finals. Keep the signups coming in and have fun!
Keeker shot Molk a text but no response :/
In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the tiger sleeps tonight.
gl hf get hyped
radiumeXtine, may I please cast a match with you at LAN?
Yes.
I'm not trying to dictate format changes to the community here, but I think this is a good opportunity to test some things out that will help competitive 6s be more welcoming to strangers. ESEA Whitelist could definitely work as a one sentence eXplanation, but its also a 51 item long list (not counting High Five Taunt).
I might be in the minority here, but I don't see a single item on the ESEA Whitelist that would ruin our fun.
Please upfrag thrasher @ #21 if esea whitelist is what you want to use, but let's also keep the discussion going.
definitely eXcited to cast this match on Monday...
Thanks for getting this thread started Freakin.
FITES LAN should be awesome this year. eXtv has thrown our hat in, and we want to do our part to make this event an even bigger success for the TF2 and FITES communities.
The eXtv planning committee will get together for the first time neXt week and this is definitely in our crosshairs. I have a close relationship with two of the main admins @ the FITES LAN, and will be sending them off an email shortly.
There were a few bumps in the road last year (internet issues for a table stacked with TF players, eXtv not coming fully prepared to eXecute our gameplan) but it was still a freaking awesome time.
Any feedback regarding how TF2 should be handled would be greatly appreciated. Last time eXtv tried to do too much, MGE?, ultiduo, MannCo Field Day, Highlander maybe?, while this year I'd like us to focus more on eXecuting the TF2 side properly and casting as many other FITES finals as possible.
I'd like to potentially try out some fresh things in order to provide a more welcoming LAN eXperience to the FITES attendees that love TF2 but don't play it in a competitive format. I'd like a format that is can be communicated in 1 sentence. "6v6 with only one of each class and no item bans" or "3v3 KOTH with only one of each class and no item bans".
We also could potentially get some free tickets from FITES... would you guys like to see a qualifying tournament where the winning team gets free tickets/refunds? While FITES always has kick-ass trophies, we could have a buy in, but that would unfortunately probably turn off other LAN attendees... Winning team gets free tickets to neXt FITES?
Lots of ideas in there, pick out what interests/disgusts you and give me some feedback yao.
Please take me off the list of potential players as I will not be in attendance this year :/
I will be in attendance at the FITES LAN Feb 21st in Harrisburg PA, but can't make both this year.
Well, business side first, I need slots on my friends list if there are people I need to find to chat with in order to get stuff done. If I need to get a hold of someone and they aren't in the chatroom thats not gonna work well.
If I've played games with someone before, know who they are, want to play with them more, I'll add them... but I get a lot of random requests... If I don't know someone is adding me for business purposes (or aforementioned stuff) I CAN'T accept.
Steam has added a lot more friends slots now, but I still like to know who someone is. In the past when I first got "popular", I accepted every request, then ended up with a ton of people who never actually messaged me ever on my friends list.
