Thanks to Elena Morning, we have two tickets to give away for the upcoming FITES LAN in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on February 21st-23rd. In order to build hype and facilitate people's attendance, we will be hosting a 2v2 MGE tournament on January 13th @ 6pm est.

Please only enter this tournament if you know you will be able to make it to FITES. If you win a ticket and don't attend or have someone else attend in your spot, you will be mocked.

If you have already purchased tickets and win this event, we will be able to get you a refund.

RULES

1) Class limits - 2 soldiers, 2 scouts, 1 demo. Basically, the core sixes classes sans medic. Any combination of these classes is allowed.

2) Items allowed - all stock, plus reskins (including the original).

3) Scoring - a point is scored any time you wipe the opposing team. The first team with 20 points wins the round and the match will be played as a best of 3 rounds. Teams will pick an arena for the first two rounds and if an agreement cannot be made on the third arena then a coin will be flipped to determine between the choices of each team.

4) Changing classes - changing classes is allowed, but it does give the opposing team a point each time you do it.

More details will be released regarding a mumble and team organization. If you'd like to enter, please reply with your Team name, Player Names, and SteamIDs. This event should be by ~ 9:30pm est.

There's a slin chance that ESEA could fit in an on-site TF2 broadcast in between CS games, but I think its highly doubtful they have the resources to setup a separate on-site TF2 stream.

Ah thanks for clarifying, Im outta sync with the euro scene at the moment and didn't realize their season was still ongoing. Mid-season bans make complete sense, gotta protect the integrity of the previous results from major meta swings.

eXtv will be casting the ultiduo tournament taking place on the 28th. I'll have to duck out after an hour or so, but getawhale will be our other host for the rest of the festivities. c0ld will be streaming.
