where's the source of these players?

so the thing is with cs is

did it consistently lose playerbase prior to the matchmaking update? was the added players people coming back to csgo, 1.6 / source players switching over, or new players?

with tf2

there isn't "another version" that people can switch from (unless ow players switch to tf2 lol), tfc isn't really alive at all. are there tons of players that need matchmaking as an impetus to return to tf2?

like you can't just say "add mm and it'll go from 10k players to 3x a year million dollar majors overnight / over the course of two years"

there's so much old casts whether it be like old highlander or regular invite/prem matches that people have probably never seen or won't seek out the vod and it kind of seems like a waste to let them go unwatched

you know how the esl_csgo twitch channel plays reruns of old cs casts and tournaments and shit like that like right now they're streaming a cs 1.6 cast from 2010 lol

can the tftv twitch do that too like it'd be cool to always have something running there like old casts and stuff like that, it'd be neat to drop in and watch casts and stuff i haven't seen before like vods of really old seasons

like i get i can watch vods but i don't really know what i want to watch and just having reruns playing when there isn't a cast happening would be pretty neat

also this would pretty much always be up on the in game stream list which would bring attention to the channel all the time
