I guess the "Meet the ... " videos did everything for me, I saw them in late 2008 or early 2009 and was amazed, they were really funny and I loved the classes, at that time I already knew about tfc and got to know what tf2 was because when I finished hl2 and hl2 ep1 I went for hl2 ep2 and saw it came with tf2 in the Orange Box.

After watching those Meet the videos I started watching A LOT of Gmod vids such as "Moments with Heavy" "Heavy buys an Xbox 360" etc and I kinda got addicted to tf2 without even playing it, my computer wouldn't handle it at the time, so I started playing tfc a lot as a consolation till June 2010 I got a new pc and my dad bought me the game

So this would be the first time an european team would play in a lan in NA?, really hyped! can't wait already :D

For a 1v1 duel, i'd go with any Quake game as the players can reach extreme amounts of aim, movement and skill and most experienced players have been playing it for more than a decade, atleast for me, out of all the multiplayer fps I played, either Quake one or 3/Live were the most challenging for me to catch on against my opponents

In fact he is from my city lol, and well about 3 years ago there was a tf2 player in our comp community that got doxed, at that time he was a jerk and not many people liked him but I don't think he really deserved that, it just ended in pizzas and ice cream delivered to his house.

The only time i've heard of something similar to "swatting" was with an argentinian youtuber (he is around 30k subs) that a lot of people hate, this dumbass told his house direction in one of his videos and his facebook fan page because he was selling his old PS2 videogames, first people started sending him pizzas and shit but one day someone convinced the police that there was a 8 year old girl captured in his house and he got raided by the police.

Last night I randomly came across the profile of a guy I played against in casual matchmaking two days ago, his profile starts normally telling the story behind his nickname (which was a sad story) then suddenly proceeds to state his: motto, full name, age and exact birth date, weight, height, skype, facebook, twitter, gmail, and his fucking home direction, house phone number, personal mobile phone number.

Then he wrote on the bottom of all that: "Most people do not have much information in their internet profiles because they are afraid of "internet crazies" I put everything because I know that on the internet only 3% are "crazy", and also, I'm not a coward, and maybe not very good at killing in a video game, but in real life, I can and will kill any bastard that tries to do something to me. I doubt there is anything more fun than killing scumbags"

Same, some people are over dramatic on the "I quit TF2" thing (some people may have good reasons to quit for a long long time) they would either play it 24 7 or not play it anymore, when I'm asked if i'm gonna quit the game sometime or if I get bored of it I just respond "I play it when I feel like doing so"

Well for me I just sit on them sometimes but I also have a heater next to my pc, right now its summer here so its not a problem yet :D
