You heard it here first guys, TLR is going to win every match.
Psych seems like it would be right up your alley based on the genres you've given us.
aporia
You have to be joking right? Even excluding my own bias, from someone that was playing at the event - the teams that won i46, i49 and i52 weren't "head and shoulders" above the rest by any stretch of the imagination. That is one of the main draws of repeated intercontinental lans in the first place - 3 years in a row there have been tournaments that any of the top teams could have walked away with on the day, and that fact leads to some of the best & most competitive tf2 played each year. Hopefully i55 is the same, and I'm super jealous of everyone lucky enough to go this year.
People that act like it was super obvious that Froyo was gonna win clearly don't remember how tense and exciting the two days before the final were. There are teams that are favorited and might even be a slightly better team in terms of skill, but that doesn't mean the outcome is set in stone. A lucky pick or two to change the momentum, a player catching fire, a bad map. The skill level gap is so small with the top teams that it can take very little to make a match go the other way.
Sideshow
Since they brought WAR and Alfa in, they now only have 3 players from their team who don't have LAN experience at a top level. That's only one more than reason, helps them out a lot imo.
Totally forgot about WAR, whoops.
It's really good for TLR to have a player with lots of experience in high pressure lan situations. I'm sure Nico has some experience with the French scene, but there's a big difference between those and i55.
Was there ever a good explanation for why Hys left TLR? I never felt like I saw one.
As long as it involves you looking stupid wandering around with a go pro on your head it should be fine.
I just want to say thanks to Dilusive for all the work you've done for this so far. It's really given me a new respect for Razer to see how committed you guys are to being responsive and working with the community to create the best service you can, especially for a relatively smaller game you aren't that familiar with. Next time I'm looking for a new mouse, I promise I'll look at you guys first :)
Can we designate that Viaduct game as the official match to show to people that don't know anything about competitive tf2? Even knowing the outcome, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
That jersey looks amazing.
Another informative review from e-sports legend and elite hardcore gamer Kurt Russ. I sure know what my next mouse is gonna be!
Wait, what team would you be playing for? Have I missed juicy EU news?
Edit: Oops, didn't actually click on the I'mraising. Don't know what else I expected.
HildrethI thought this was going to be a Pyro fragmovie from my man Satan - I was pleasantly surprised.
Not that a Satan fragvid would be disappointing either.
