maybe lock threads that havent seen any action in a certain amount of time to prevent necros as hard as this http://teamfortress.tv/thread/8410/roamers-of-the-past/?page=2#43 from happening again
shouldn't affect the majority of people and could encourage people to read old help threads as opposed to creating new ones with already-solved questions
hud creators/guide writers can edit posts and have that count as thread activity (which wouldnt be a problem either way since people post consistently enough on them) to prevent accidental thread locking

WaldoMedigun that can heal two targets at once, with normal heal/overheal, but with no uber. Not sure how it would balance, but the ability to trade initiation for a constant heal advantage would be interesting.
with no uber you could just make the other beam heal with m2
