have 2 jager bombs before it to boost your enthusiasm
Oh my god I love this community
i wouldn't be upset if this guy mysteriously died
tone-pot provided the funniest match I've ever played in S11

I'm glad to see Lange is planning ahead. I imagine it is hard to get a bulldozer to Europe from America.
no, it will not
vg248qe (and all others I assume) only support higher refresh rates over DP and DVI. You can get 75Hz at resolutions below 1080P over hdmi, but that's all you can hope for.
*VG248QE + laptop user* I'm using mine connected to my laptops mini display port, which runs through the intel gpu instead of the nvidia. I only get ~100-110 fps but it is still much better than 200 fps @ 60 Hz
The only thing that might work for you, which I haven't tried, is an active (powered) hdmi -> dual link DVI adapter. But these cost like $100 and aren't guaranteed to work, especially since your laptop does not have HDMI 1.4b
ApolloftwGet Wrecked can't blame the loss on a missing starting player. You need to have backups who are as good as your starters.
While yes, it is no excuse for losing, it is still a valid point to use when trying to determine the skill level of the team, as they will most likely have all of their starters in any contest with actual significance.
TwitchTVJohnAll of this math is incorrect. :P
There's development costs for features for the subscription program and a transaction cost. 50/50 is extremely fair.
Fair enough, then
Wait, 50% of the subscribe money goes to twitch? I would've liked it to be a 60/40 (more reasonable) or 70/30 split in favor of the streamers
Wouldn't twitch still get more from subs then they would get from 1 viewers ad revenue from a month? i'm all for supporting twitch cause i love it but would like to be support our small streams more :3
NobleTF2 ports.
TCP: 27000:27050 (You can expand the range if you feel like it. sometimes I've seen servers with higher ports such as 27135, though normally that is not the case)
UDP: 1200,2478:4380,27000:27050
Use your IP (internal)/MAC for source, leave transferred blank (both), and highest.
Mumble port should the port of the server your are connecting to. For example, the default port of mumble is 64738.
Got some info from here and adjusted it a bit:
https://github.com/rrelmy/asus-rt-n56u-firmware/blob/master/src/router/www/ajax_qos_default.asp
This conflicts with some of what grillz said. Is the port the server uses (at the end of a connect line) the same port I need to prioritize on my router, or are these different things? And same thing for mumble, what is the port 3312 grillz mentioned? Is that incorrect or do I need that AND the port of the server I'm connected to?
This is really important, my internet sucks. I get lag spikes if somebody else loads a bandwidth heavy page, let alone tries to stream anything
This fall I have a decent paying job, but I like too many streamers to subscribe to them all, and don't know how I would pick who to subscribe to. Will definitely be subbing to TF.TV and maybe cbear if he streams more :3
Okie dokie I'll try it out. Sounds pretty straight forward and those links were good reads
thanks grillz
I just got a new router and I don't know how to configure qos to prioritize tf2 and mumble (over EVERYTHING). Here is what the firmware setup looks like

plz help (Lange?)
