for me the main reason was that bad players would instantly look at my hours and try to justify how shit they were in comparison even though the majority of the time they had the exact same amount/more, and having a private profile just eliminates that conversation

it doesnt even have to be like all top div players it can be a mixed bag and still function the same just as long as they can/want to hold a mouse

again altho the title makes it seem like i want scout only, i just want more scouts to shoot and i want the other classes to stop being so formulaic in practicing.

the downside to practicing in mge is ur playing vs mge specific shit, then u go here and only fight soldiers on 1 position only which isnt good practice and this is cause the maps are too small

yeah for people that practice everyday and make no progress might just need a more chilled out alternative that doesnt waste the time of their opponent where they can play and improved without caring about elo or being shit talked

dm in its current state is too flawed to meet that

there are lots of players with similar or some cases even more hours than me and they cant airstrafe and move in straight lines because they skipped steps in progression and didnt learn everything from pubbing. this is like a fun alternative with no pressure to do well where they can go back and improve

this could make it so these players or those open divs with 8000 tf2venters can see improving mechanics as fun and not a soulless grind

the issue with current dm with that is theres too much random spam , its too braindead, even more than a pub. by spreafing it out it would reduce this and u can havre fights on a lot more areas like last points for example

not even last points actually they dont need to be comp maps at all it should have its own

for me and why i want this is rly that it would be a more mechanically advanced harvest pub with a mixed bag of skill levels and a lot more optimal for how i play harvest, so i can also practice my aim (which i dont think current dm lets me)

not even gonna front peak tf2 for me is probably like an instant respawn harvest server woth just me and 23 MGE Mike levsl bots (not to say the dm server should be 24 players, but iust more than 8. depends on map pool)

i mean thats just about letting people practice aiming something ideally they wouldnt be there but this is just to make it more pubber friendly and i dont think it would lose the appeal dm already has when they are there

in the same way having 3 snipers on ur pub team doesnt effect ur pubbing u can just ignore that

i just only find killing scouts as aim intensive but i think i yet again didnt make what im trying to say clear enough for tftv cause in one part im just talking about how the only shit that is pravtive is killing scouts, makng it seem like i dont want other shit, but then i start talking about other shit and im assuming peeople didnt read that

but there also shouldnt be restrictions on demos/soldiers and with more ppl u can even have sniper (this with restriction) and in a more pub friendly server knife disabled amby spy

its literally just a pub gamemode with competitive attributes both sides of the community could enjoy something like this

less of a clusterfuck, more people to kill, more inclusive, beneficial to those who play mge for years and still 1600 elo, gets more pubbers involved with comp minded shit, more realistic because u would have fights in random areas as opposed to just shooting soldiers on gully nipple who are permanently there shooting down that arent satisfying when u kill and alla that
