Is this the white menu thing people are talking about? I have followed the instructions as meticulously as I able, but I can't work out what's wrong.
Do i want to delete SourceScheme.res?
If anyone could help me out, I'd be indebted to you

In my first year of university, I lived with a guy who wasn't really that studious. The night before his exam, we spent drinking and smoking weed. Understandably, he really didn't want to do his exam as he hadn't prepared at all and was really drunk. So we tried to think of ways for him to avoid doing his exam. The most obvious idea to us was to get a doctor's note, but unfortunately for him, he was in good health and it was like 2am. So we decided to run over his foot and take him to A&E. So in the carpark behind our halls, we ran over his foot twice and then took him to A&E. A&E at 2-3am on a Friday night is beyond grim, especially as I live in kinda a scummy town. Loads of people are there after having fights on nights out. Seeing women kitted out in full nightout garb under the harsh hospital lighting is sobering. I was there and stayed with him to ~6am watching BBC News (ask me anything about the riots in Tunisia..) where he got x-rayed and carted around in a wheelchair. Eventually he was released with some crutches, codeine pills, some anti-inflammatories and the coveted note. Needless to say, the next night was very odd (another story for another time).
The most stupid thing about it was that he dropped out of his course 2 months later, rendering his foot-based heroics for nought...
cool. If you ever upload something, PM me and I'll give it a leech to help you out!
irc.what.cd is the server
noidayI have an inactive what.cd account that got disabled due to ratio. What should I say to get them to reactivate?
uhhh... that you're a changed man/woman?
In seriousness, the admins are people and generally very helpful, so just talk to them and if you have a legitimate reason, everything should be ok

I like my crosshair big and pretty and pink. I find that there isn't a great deal that it gets obscured by.
ma3la to r5 on pocket? could happen...
flipperswhat is what.cd
You've stumbled upon a door where your mind is the key. There are none who will lend you guidance; these trials are yours to conquer alone. Entering here will take more than mere logic and strategy, but the criteria are just as hidden as what they reveal. Find yourself, and you will find the very thing hidden behind this page. Beyond here is something like a utopia—beyond here is What.CD.
This is a mirage.
Yep, if you go to #what.cd-disabled and have a decent reason, there's a fair chance you'll get your account back. Either that or re-do the test.
http://www.pianosheets.org is great, but invite only.
Cryptography is mainly number theory right? Like the Euclidean algorithm and modular arithmetic and things like that?
donated $5 for Tviq scatter. thanks!
#83 Not big on passion pit (their brand of emotion always seemed so forced and lacking in any genuine aspects to me), but to each to his own. Juicy J is the man tho. Kinda contrived to say that 'Geeked up off dem Bars' is a good track, but it's great. Can't wait to see what he spits over the Harlem Shake. That was quite a reserved bar from him though.
Well, in that case dfy, I completely disagree with you. I don't really see much point in engaging you in discussion, because it appears to me that you have not made an effort to explore the genre in any great detail. I think one could quite confidently assert that Burial is easily one of the greatest electronic musicians of the last 10 years.
I am neither defiant nor edgy. My aesthetics are different from yours, and I am afraid you have to accept that. You can put rules on your music, but you can't put rules on other people's. You can't tell others how to enjoy music.
Everything needs rules? I am afraid I don't get on board with that. What rules are put down depends on what you want from music, and what you and I want are different, therefore we will never agree on rules. Also, insistence on rules kinda flies in the face of what post modernism has achieved, unless your working on some odd reading of the oulipo movement.
You certainly can't expect your golden rule to be universal. That's just arrogance.
If you don't like it, that's fine! But don't insist that it is a genre that's not worth bothering with, especially when you don't know a great deal about it. There is certainly value in dubstep, the question is whether it is value that appeals to your tastes.
Also, I have been known to feed trolls in the past, but you can do better than that dfy ;)
I can understand breaking the flow and that's a perfectly acceptable objection to have. Of course, people may look for different things, but hey! music is subjective so it's all good. I personally don't believe dubstep breaks the flow, and have spent many nights happily dancing to it, but we're all individuals and I happily accept it's not for everyone.
What does disturb me is your attempt to objectify it 'breaking' and 'adding rules'. When you add rules you very quickly delimit the amount one can innovate, something one must agree is against the spirit of progression (whether progression is positive of negative is your call). Villalobos constantly plays with our conceptions of what techno is, and I think most djs would be greatful for it (see the inclusion of 'Easy Lee' on many many mixes)
I think favouring rules is fine if one accepts that dance and melody are important, but for others they are not. Akufen's My Way is very conceptual and takes dance music ideas and samples and does really interesting things (in my opinion) with them.
Also these rigid rules really narrow down the creations of new subgenres, and that's fine if you want to dance to the same, homogenous music forever. I, for one, am happy that such new and innovating genres jump up and play with the rules and preconceptions of what dance music should be.
Also, why is it bad that everyone isn't dancing in the same way? It's surely a question of preference. That said only certain kinds of dubstep are heavy on the polyrythms (ie brostep), but a lot of them are much more linear. If I was to jump to a conclusion, it would be that the dubstep you have been exposed to isn't representative of the genre as a whole.
