you need to be on the same 5GHz network
it's got nothing to do with your internet speeds, only local network
does the ultra preset take advantage of any sv_cheats 1 commands? just wondering since i was using it as a casting config rather than a playing config
cl_allowdownload 1
cl_downloadfilter all
or nosounds or mapsonly
tempus uses that cdn you should be downloading from there already
Spugemm[*] rocket jumper is apparently worse than the liberty launcheram i missing something here?

- caber is rated terribly even though it's the fucking best weapon in the game[1]
[1] mini caber rant: the caber was NOT nerfed into oblivion, it still does 123 damage with no varianceShow Contentit looks less in your hud because it deals its damage in two parts: the hit, and the explosion (and after that, just the hit) so its only visible with combat text batching. it's still good and im honestly very surprised no-one seems to know this
im mostly meming but people seem to all think it only does like 80 dmg when in reality it doesn much more. it's a fun way to get a kill when you're probs dead already and you dont really lose anything since demo melees dont really matter
Some guy did a weapons survey on /r/truetf2 and /r/tf2 asking which weapons are the most op and most up, along with some other ones. the answers are sometimes confused (probably bad questions) or just plain wrong but it might be interesting for a couple reasons:
- it gauges most of the player's PERCEPTION of weapon balance pretty decently
- these are the weapons which will probably be nerfed/buffed in two years time
notable tomfoolery:
- most players rate the boston basher very highly, even though it's a utility weapon for building (and sometimes jumping) and isn't really useful in pubs
- most comp players agree the soda popper is probably better than stock, but here stock won out
- the flying guillotine is apparently useless without the stun combo, even though it's banned in comp for the insanely low cooldown and high damage/bleed
- rocket jumper is apparently better than the liberty launcher
- reserve shooter (soldier) is rated 2nd worst, even though it's pretty good on soldier
- demoknight stuff is rated pretty lowly, thankfully
- caber is rated terribly even though it's the fucking best weapon in the game[1]
- overdose is (barely) worse that stock apparently, which is probably true for pubs
- jarate bushwacka is not a gimmick i guess
- people REALLY hate the phlog

personally i think now is the perfect time to have a debate on whether totalbiscuit was a bad person because he told someone to get cancer on the internet and i can't wait to eat the soft delectable fruits of this discussion
copperrgemm when this money runs out no-one will be playing fortnite as an esport.
Your acting like no one enjoys playing/watching this game.
Even with keemstars $5000 tournament around 600k people were watching fortnite on twitch
when you get a bunch of twitch streamers in an invitational tourney that happens, yeah. you're right the game has a fuck ton of people watching just for the gameplay but that doesn't mean that the same people would watch an esports broadcast. just like pubg casting and observing is gonna be a pain in the but hol, and that means watching is gonna be a bad experience too
im expecting it to behave kinda like pubg, people get bored of the gameplay after a bit or it saturates the people that are gonna play it and the game stagnates and starts declining. could be wrong but i doubt the top level esports meta won't stagnate and become campy and slow or just repetitive. a big part of that depends on how epic treat balancing the pro scene, my hopes aren't very high for that but again i could be wrong

-protothe big takeaway from this is how out of touch valve is. they are sitting on 2 massive esports and have the potential to develop a 3rd with tf2 but they refuse to. even csgo gets the cold shoulder from valve compared to dota 2. its sad... valve also has the ability to provide 100+ mil for prizes and massively stimulate growth in return which would grant them far more than their investment. they simply do not do enough for their games after release.
they'vey got 2 major esports that have been around for a while and probably will be around for a while. when this money runs out no-one will be playing fortnite as an esport. any idiot can pump money into a game and make it an "esport", it takes something more to make a game that turns itself into an esport that people both want to play and watch, and so provides sponsors and a return
if they dumped 100 mil into just any old game they'd NEVER see that money back. fortnite is kinda an exception since the game's massive so has a big audience already, and they can likely afford to lose the money should the game not really bring investment
mastercomfig probably, maybe you'd prefer comanglias or comangliacoms
i mean considering she recommends dx9 ur not doing the recommended launch options very well
