SpaceCadet If they would cut out all the cheesy love stories and just get to fighting and superpowers, it would solve everything.

Love story/love interest is the formula. It's hard to pull off a movie without some sort of love story tied in, regardless of genre. I know someone will go try and cherry pick some now and yes they do exist, but a love story is a pretty tried and true device for movies.

There was a well known UGC sniper who was banned in a previous LMAOBox ban wave, and in his "apology" or explanation post, he had a line like

And like it wasn't a joke, he wasn't trying to be funny. It was 100% earnest and real. Kids these days.
