k0ngzycan't wait for 60 tic deathmatches with viewmodels. It's exactly what b4nny envisioned for PC gaming and competitive TF2 as a whole.
So leave and don't come back
I mean there's no reason to doubt it, notes like this are regularly distributed on the HLDS mailing list
I can't imagine anyone here who didn't already read the Reddit thread being interested, sorry
k0ngzyI never said I wanted concrete info... You're right, there's lots of brainless people here. I'm saying this entire post is pointless. There is no tidbits of information, there is no perspectives, there's one perspective you dumbass, and it's "hype neato bean burrito" That's the extent of these tidbits you enjoy so much.
Well if you want to be the super contrarian skeptic, do it up my man. I will choose to take Geel's word for it, because I trust him enough. He's confirming what many in the community forget pretty quickly, which is that Valve knows what they are doing for the most part (despite their slowness and disappointing amount of communication). If it all turns out to be shit, then fine, I can knock on Geel's door and ask for his resignation or whatever, but for now I'm going to just believe him without looking for something to argue about.
k0ngzyIt's not assurance, and that's my point, there is no fucking assurance if he can't provide factual evidence that the game is changingfor the better, it's just fodder meant to sway opinion. Like I said in my post, he provided us with a status update of his life, not an information update regarding TF2.
Everything you are posting is stupid
In a community so full of people brainlessly declaring the game is dead, it's nice to get different tidbits and perspectives from multiple people who have spoken to or met with Valve. Yes, we'd all prefer concrete, thorough, details. You're not winning coolness points by bitching about downfrags. We're all impatient with this update. Just stop.
TomI dont know which team was the favourite just pointing out a few errors and giving context for your statement.
You're right, my B. I've been scatterbrained all day.
Just1sEven after those matches in ETF2L top players still tought of nameLess as one of the favourites of this lan. And also perilous didn't do that well. Yes they won, but some maps were very close and as casters said they could've easily lost some of them. So I really don't see how nameLess were been underdogs.
One of the favorites. Perilous sitting atop the tables at 10-0, with nameLess at 7-3. Regardless of how a team is regarded or thought of, it's tough to go on anything other than the tables, since the teams didn't face each other during the regular season yet. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the handicap.. and the lineups were slightly different for LAN. But that might help explain it a bit.
Well that was unexpected
Geel9Well, it just makes sense. Of course Valve wants to make TF2 a huge esport with millions of players and millions in prizepools, all the while raking in that sweet key cash. Of course they WANT that. The question -- for them -- is can it happen?
What I see them doing is basically what they did with Dota 2 and CSGO. They're seeing if it's possible to replicate it. They're giving it the chance to grow, and if it does, they'll of course be there to reap the benefits.
And, because it bears repeating, self-defeating and pessimistic attitudes, especially from big influencers like Muselk, are what have the biggest chance of ACTUALLY killing the game. He has the power to affect the community market economy with one tweet (just as an example), so it's scary to think of how many kids watch his comments or videos and just take everything at face value.
I'm curious to know.. did games like CS or Melee have issues like this, just tons and tons of people saying it was a dead game, the same way we do? When CS:GO was first out, did they have a bunch of blind naysayers as well? Or is non-constructive bitching like this unique to us?
I used to play with Pokemon cards a long time ago but since I do other things now and not that, I don't make public, decisive comments on things I don't know about
looked at his twitch profile, he posted this whole apology and says he feels bad etc. deleted his vod from today
move on i guess
DishSoap[PRG Joshenkstone]His source:i have never heard of this guy other than the thread about him being an "asshole" or whatever, so when did he become a part of this "pillar of the tf2 community"
-He (RobTheAwsm) said that he is part of the pillar of the community that knows stuff about this update.
If a person says out loud they are a pillar of the community, that usually means they aren't
You know better than this Tino
when you die it's the same as before you were born
