I think what is meant by the response is don't declare matchmaking dead before it comes out
You are judging the matchmaking beta; which is fair. It's not complete, and has obvious issues. Just make sure to make that clear in your posts. Lots of people jump from "the matchmaking beta has big problems" to "TF2 is dead" pretty quickly (albeit primarily on sites like Reddit)
