WRONG
i think you build more uber when a pocket jumps
also if the roamer equalizes he's kind of guaranteed the 300 hp buff so he doesn't have to wait around at the start
Q E F for slots 1 2 3, and i bound mouse3 to call for medic
I honestly prefer them off entirely, I don't think they serve much purpose if you're paying attention. To do that you just change the min and max width to 0 and they're gone.
i would think most people's favorite word is fuck
If you explained what you wanted it would be easier to help you understand, but this was in my hudanimations.txt, it might be of use
// commands:
// Animate <panel name> <variable> <target value> <interpolator> <start time> <duration>
// variables:
// FgColor
// BgColor
// Position
// Size
// Blur (hud panels only)
// TextColor (hud panels only)
// Ammo2Color (hud panels only)
// Alpha (hud weapon selection only)
// SelectionAlpha (hud weapon selection only)
// TextScan (hud weapon selection only)
//
// interpolator:
// Linear
// Accel - starts moving slow, ends fast
// Deaccel - starts moving fast, ends slow
// Spline - simple ease in/out curve
// Pulse - < freq > over the duration, the value is pulsed (cosine) freq times ending at the dest value (assuming freq is integral)
// Flicker - < randomness factor 0.0 to 1.0 > over duration, each frame if random # is less than factor, use end value, otherwise use prev value
//
// RunEvent <event name> <start time>
// starts another even running at the specified time
//
// StopEvent <event name> <start time>
// stops another event that is current running at the specified time
//
// StopAnimation <panel name> <variable> <start time>
// stops all animations refering to the specified variable in the specified panel
//
// StopPanelAnimations <panel name> <start time>
// stops all active animations operating on the specified panel
//
// SetFont <panel name> <fontparameter> <fontname from scheme> <set time>
//
// SetTexture <panel name> <textureidname> <texturefilename> <set time>
//
// SetString <panel name> <string varname> <stringvalue> <set time>
will never be less than 260 on demoman
there aren't set aim styles, just practice shooting things and whatever works better for you will just end up being the way you aim
i have keys bound to +moveup and +movedown also, makes free cam way easier to maneuver
So, as a test run before I make my/my team's frag video for this season, and to learn how to use After Effects and the demo smoother, I put together a TF2 remake of the trailer for the new Man of Steel movie. Let me know what you think.
original trailer if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wArmHSPIvlQ
- positioning is something you can make a conscious decision about unlike aim and can have just as much of an impact
- try not to kill people who are being pocketed/fully buffed if you don't have help or are not also buffed ( big difference from DM/MGE)
- if you have the option to pick your fight at any time, pick the guy who just got called hurt
- call who you're shooting/the damage you did if you know people can follow up
- when you're practicing your DM pick something you think you need to work on and focus on that
As most people should know, tf2 limits your viewmodel_fov_demo values. However, there's this new plugin by Casual that lets you change the viewmodel_fov_demo to whatever value you want, so we can record pov's at viewmodel_fov 90 now (hooray).
It does require you to set your launch options to -insecure, but since you don't have to join any servers to record a video that's not really an issue. Credit goes to Casual for writing the plugin and DOB referring me to it.

here's an example video for proof of concept and for fun, i recorded at viewmodel_fov_demo -90 and flipped the whole thing over
