I offclass on demoman just for a quick peek when I get a forward spawn, I generally switch off before I lose the forward spawn.
Also rocket has alot of potential, this kid literally fucks up all the time, and takes every piece of criticism that myself and various others give him with alot of focus, hes always looking at what he can do better
sometimes he seems like his head is out of the game (couple pugs here and there, happens to everyone) and he needs some direction, but right now he is on the correct path to gaining power on medic, he also has the personality that will let him be a really good teammate, in a couple more seasons he'll spread his wings soon enough
i like how out of nowhere, since you got cut, you've constantly ironically shitalked only me as if it's my fault you got cut, as if it's my fault that you're not good enough for a top 2 team, as if it's my fault you consistently get 2 rocketed. despite that, i never once said to cut you.
Im just gonna leave a small chapter of my book here
Ultra key of power: to make sure you dont overextend yourself as a demo to setup some fancy ass trap that either
-wont work and will get you killed
-dont overextend to watch the trap if you know they have uber ad in particular, num ad is extremely situational and I cant explain it
-a trap that will work at the cost of your life (not worth unless miraculous combo drop or multi kill, prolly not worth it either but extremely situational)
watching demos of invite demos is literally the best way to learn new sticky trap spots
-literally learned a new trap watching a i46 platinum demo raping my team leader like last week lol
-pay attention to what traps work (down below, deserved own post cause its so important)
-for ex: you'd be surprised how effective a simple 3-4 sticky carpet is, that too on a floor that everyone can see
another important thing is to always have a read on the situation, this will allow you to access whether traps should be used or damage output
going back to what traps work, there are times when you as a demo should set carpets or traps to control area, other times you can get kills if you catch onto enemy push patterns, helping you know where to trap, I like to mix it up, you dont wanna keep trapping the same shit over and over again lol, any fucking demo will mix it up, in this case, matches, scrims and pugs are your best friend to teach you these small things and experience will hone your timings and understanding
also this thread is fucking garbage
Apti mean its not like i can (or do) disagree with what's been said about me in this thread but it does feel pretty shitty to be reminded of it when i really didnt need to be
for sure it will never feel good, however this is how you know if you have the want or drive to improve. I was the worst player on my team for sure 100% when I first started out (not saying you are on your team), got cut both times I ever played open (only have 12 matches of that div), I also had multiple threads made on me due to some interesting circumstances.. its never easy for a jinchuuriki xd
all jokes aside, you are left with a choice, you either continue to feelbadman and wallow in your self pity and stunt your drive/improvement... Or you can put in the effort to turn your weaknesses into your strengths and prove everyone wrong, then you can transcend from that weak apartment into the burj khalifa, in the end, it is up to you for how much time you wanna put in and how you wanna spend it. just make sure you dont get depressed, its just TF2 lol
get your friends and stack, 5-0, 2 mins, my crew does that shit on the daily
in a BO3 / BO5 sitation (seven vs us @ ESA for example), the dead time if you know you already lost can give you time to refresh your mind and think about strats for the next map and talk about things that went wrong, not only that but as mentioned before if a team chooses to keep playing normally even if they've lost by means of time then they can even extract further info by trying things out in the downtime and see what works
stalemates aren't cause by scouts, rather by medics and their medibeams. fact.
aaaaaaaaand off to the dumpster
Nursey best medic game
