Yeah, I didn't expect to get 120hz, but 60hz is enough for pretty casual play.
About budget, maybe I could stretch it up to $1100, but I'm hoping for way less, heh

I found a 17'' to be too big, something between 13-15.6'' is fine I guess, 15.6'' being in the upper limit.
About budget... That must be annoying, but I really have no ideia xD. Was thinking about seeing how much one that fit all criteria(if it exists) would cost and then if I found it to be too high a price look for requirements to drop.

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations on a laptop that:
✓ Has long enough battery life so that I can spend a 4-hour bus ride watching downloaded tv shows on it.
✓ Has good I/O so that I can watch said downloaded tv shows on an actual TV if the opportunity comes.
✓ Can turn into a tablet so that I can use it instead of tons of paper to scribble away hundreds of uni physics problems.
✓ Is loud enough so that I can listen to video-lessons whilst I eat(chewing sounds inside the head can make that annoying)
✓ Runs Quake Live at a stable 125 fps(QL is light enough for playing on a laptop, right?).
✓ Has a non-terrible trackpad, I'd consider the trackpads on macbooks to be excellent.
✓ Is not too big, so it fits comfortably in a schoolbag and I can carry it around.
✓ Is powerful enough to deal with multiple chrome video tabs open without severe slow-downs :0
