The perspective that was brought on another thread, about how coaches could "bring out a new type of player", giving people that are good with tactics but not DM a place, made me rethink my instance on this. Maybe it could be allowed, as long as in international LANs it's possible for every team to have one. Otherwise it's unfair and casts doubts over the results.
Really though, I don't see how it makes sense to argue that there's virtually no difference, like people seem to have been doing. When it's either unfair or useless it shouldn't be allowed, lol
Feel for Kaidus however :(
We need Gentleman Jon to crunch the data for us
tstmTrotz21When Mike has to carry for someone:
Because a scout is going to peak 300dpm during a ton of stale mates.
Compare Thalash's dpm to b4nny's, then.
Kaidus is fucking excellent, how does that make the situation any fairer?
Kaidus calls must be so much more precise and trustable than those of teammates limited to their perspectives.
> something always happens therefore it's right
> shittalking and ego are bad, but only if they apply to the player I don't like
> bringing up personal affairs to get an edge in the competition is not inconceivably low
gotcha
Everyone who takes games mildly seriously and can afford to eventually buys a 120hz, but I will just say that Powah played with a 75Hz screen and his framerate often dipped below 120, not only that, he played with 150 ping.
And that was Invite sometime ago, so idk.
I read somewhere that there was a strafe-jumping demonstration on stage that wasn't shown at that trailer.
Please let it be true, does anybody have the link?
edit: k, by the wording here seems like it isn't public: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/08/05/quakecon-2016-18-new-details-you-need-to-know-about-quake-champions
"You can sorta tell from the gameplay trailer, but additional footage shown only during the stage demo really drove home the sense of speed in Quake Champions, which will run at a 120hz refresh rate with no upper limit in terms of framerate. We saw a player just bunny hopping their way over gaps and down corridors without any apparent loss of speed. This encouragement to catch air is one of the things that makes Quake, Quake."
Well, I'm back here since it seems it was not only the RAM, the RAM was not the root of the problems, or I did something wrong when installing it since my computer still behaves strangely.
On the first boot after I installed the new sticks my PC went directly to the BIOS, and it wouldn't recognize the SDD on which Windows is installed. After some googling I tried disabling CSM and it worked; my SSD showed up on boot option and I was capable to make the PC autoboot from it.
After I checked disabled for CSM on the BIOS menu it told me I hadn't made any changes, though, and when I checked the BIOS again it was "enabled" so idk.
The thing, is my computer has restarted seemingly randomly a couple times already, albeit it hasn't shown any blue screens.
I haven't ran a memtest on the new RAM yet, plan on doing that tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help.
edit: The 1-click overclock I've mentioned somewhere on this forum that I tried using on the past is the ASUS AI Suite 3 thingy, that might have fucked my PC?
One time my PC was restarting so I took it to some supposed technicians and they "reverted" the overclock, but I'm not so sure if I could trust that they knew what they were doing either >-<
Ok, I was a little upset with how unpolished things can be.
Remove the reserve shooter, make it so that people don't lose control when airblast and give pyro the ability to strafe-jump like in quake.
The cops seem to have made a terrible mistake in that case, but as I recently saw a video of a cop getting murdered by two guys in a stolen car he stopped, I can kinda think of why they did it.
Here's a recent video of a cop who tried to stop a stolen car, he told the occupants to get out of the vehicle but they didn't comply - one of the even tried to take his gun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2DtUSE4400 In this case the cop hesitated and died.
