who's the best and why
u think anyone here is gonna be able to give u a legit answer that doesn't rely on meaningless platitudes?
Shouldn't Blaze just be better overall considering he got more experience than Seagull at this point? (i think)
- who's the best
papi on the riddim is the best
- and why
because he beat frenchies ON LAN
[*] who's the best

They played different roles. You can't compare them. Blaze plays super conservatively providing constant damage and frags, but not taking too many risks. Seagull had to be a play maker and played significantly more aggressively. Different team comps call for different roamers, but Blaze and Seagull both fit the teams they played for and were the best for them.

Paprika_ has 100% lan winrate, neither of these two old relics can compete.
Blaze is the best roamer NA has ever had imho
Playing with enough ping to make some EU players leave rosters as a roamer, playing smartly and being able to do such consistent work as roamer is why he's the best. Even if he doesn't have the DM skills as Mike, his knowledge of the game and his timing make him way more effective and lethal, specially in maps like product

Its like comparing Kate Beckinsale and Margot Robbie. You cant get wrong either way.
Didn't leave for overwatch ✔
Hasn't ruined his stacked pro roster ✔
Gorgeous hair ✔
Most ESEA-I and international lan wins of any roamer ✔
Canadian ✔
I vote -blaze

I'm not saying blaze is or isn't the best, but he doesn't get that much more ping than the average soldier, as he gets around 50 on scoreboard.

Scoreboard ping is also off by about 30. Still not that bad since everyone else also has an extra 30 or so ping added to their scoreboard ping as well.
trippaeuro soldiers are cooler tbh
Yes I Agree ETF2L Seasons 21-23 Had A Very Good Group Of European Soldiers.

not to get too nerdy but my guess is the reason people mistakenly think blaze gets ridiculous ping is because nowadays servers are chicago/colorado, but there used to be way more invite matches on dallas servers back when mixup had a bunch of dudes from florida, and blaze being from british columbia got way worse ping to those

This doesn't answer the question fully, but Seagull definitely had a bigger impact on the game, the community, and how the game is played, imo.

Not much, roamers are a poor position for stat measurements.
In a comparison between the two I think Blaze suffers from having come into the game later, so Seagull is the innovator, a vocal strategist in his team, played demo and pocket as well, and has defined the Roamer position particularly in a play making style. He did it all first.

There's five major criteria that you need to consider when evaluating roamers. It's not so simple a question that you can just name your favorite player (that most of us never even played with outside of pugs) and call it a day.
Better hair: I'm leaning blaze on this one, but it's actually pretty close. Seagull just kinda lets his hair do whatever the fuck it wants, and I can respect that.
Consistency: Leaning blaze, but, again, it's closer than it looks. Sure, blaze did it for longer, but Seagull played the game in many eras and was super relevant in all of them. Both seem pretty versatile/not limited in their play-styles too.
Impakt:: Seagull. Blaze played for a dream team. Seagull had to carry harder.
Times player hugged sezco: not sure on this one. I know Seagull has hugged sezco at least one time, but blaze could have done it too, so, I'd need to do research or hear from more sources.
Cool factor: Blaze was always super chill in bball/pugs, but he hangs out with clockwork. Don't get me wrong, I like clock, but (I think I've said this before), clockwork once told me that he was going to get ice cream with a girl, but he didn't want to eat any because he would get cold and didn't want to look cold in front of the girl. Stop. Go back and read that again. That is actually the single wackest thing I have ever heard a tf2 player say, and if there's even a chance that Blaze condones that sort of shit, cool factor goes to seagull.
So, there you have it, it's too close to call, with Blaze and Seagull each taking two of the categories, and the last being unresolved.
