So why not just have the same map pool throughout the league?
BrockFactsMachineS7 medals came out! If you haven't received your prize money, that means Valve is faster than RGL! :D
Valve doesn’t distribute the medals, RGL does.
Close. RGL sends Valve the medals who then take forever to update the game to add them

TAS rollout to mid
Maps with infinite overtime seem to last too long, which prevents the full extent of the ruleset from being implemented in a league with a Bo3 or Bo5 format for playoffs. While the shortened round timers are good enough at 4 or 5 minutes, it's not enough to eliminate bus-parking without infinite overtime, but nobody wants to play an hour-long map. That said, there are solutions that should be tried.
1) Shorter match timer. Under the current ruleset, overtime kicks in at 30 mins, which is the end of the match timer. You could just shorten this to 15-20 minutes, with different amounts of time being tested to see which one works best.
2) Overtime only applies at the end of 30-minutes if there is a round difference of a certain amount, say one or two points. The problem with this is that parking the bus, while reduced, still exists.
3) A different winlimit. Probably my least favorite solution, but you could limit the max rounds to 3 or 4.
Overall, a longer match time is rough for the players in playoffs who have to play multiple maps. With the halftime ruleset, we run into this problem where Invite grands go till like 3 AM est and that's with map advantage from the upper bracket. It also makes scheduling LAN tournaments less reliable (DreamHack anyone?).
Springrolls called my team solid and my life is complete.
Don't worry. I hear RGL gives children over the age of 13 cigarette breaks. :)
Awesome! Next make an MGE server so people stop playing on servers run on Chromebooks
Sorry maybe if the shooters had more knives
There is no "ready." He can start comp at any time. I recommend Newbie Mixes.
Hey did anyone get their prize money? The weekend from 2 fucking weeks ago kinda passed.
Remember what happened the EssentialsTF monthly cups when they never paid out prize money?
Experimenting to make 5CP better is long overdue. Also glad we didn't do 3 minutes.
Would honestly hope that they'd give prize money by the time fees are due next season.
