A lot of people look at a flank scout stat and go "wow 190 dpm so bad xD" like they're a brainless HLTV player, but that's not now TF2 (or any game) works. Arekk was reliable to always make the correct play, always be in position, always fill his role. He'd always be a fucking nuisance behind and threatening backcaps. His communication was goated and he always brought positivity to the team atmosphere. If you look at his damage given versus taken, he would have like no spam eaten ever. His movement was just really good. He wasn't as flashy as other scouts, but he was easily the best role player, even if you didn't consider him a star (even though he had seasons where he looked like Froyo's best player).

Also his YT channel was pretty lit

Elijah is also incredibly racist, homophobic and transphobic btw. No reason he should be here. And btw his circlejerk has been ringing his alts (which he cheats on) all this time, and I literally told an admin about it and have seen nothing come from it.

Or you could check them like any other spot. Are we going to start banning Batman on Metalworks? Secret in Gullywash? Unless a certain wallbug spot genuinely breaks the game (in which case you can ban that spot), I see no reason to remove a skill-based mechanic. That's the conclusion ETF2L came to and every time we've discussed it in NA the decision has been to keep them

It's sort of rough for TF2 specifically in NA because there is literally only one person who can afford to do this full-time but I still think when Quake can do scrims and pugs earlier when they have a population as prone to aging as Japan and HL players can do 8:30+9:30 on Mondays that surely some West Coast players can do 30 minutes earlier. I also just think more people could scrim on weekends in the afternoon but not everyone wants to spend their weekends on this game. It really is a team-by-team basis and idk if having exclusively standardized scrim times is tenable.
