gianniWhat if medic just couldn’t move and needed to be carried around the map like a baby
ALready have to do this if you play scout
if i aim at the medics legs it should give him a debuff "crippled" cause i just shot out his kneecaps, and the walk animation should change to him dragging himself along on the floor
-snowbig sad. I have no money to buy a new gpu/pc. will have to try these tests when I've got some free time. hoping it doesn't completely die during this season :(
you could look into getting it repaired, either third party or check in with your manufacturer. if you're lucky it might just be that some easily replacable component is dying, and not the actual GPU core itself

this is the culprit, sadly I can't really help you or go further with a segfault core dump without giving you a 10 page answer on how to run steam under gdb to go further. Though might be worth sending a bug report mail with the coredump file attached, probably in the same folder where hl2.sh is (/home/zerotech/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/)

run steam in a terminal and see what it prints out when it crashes

Soldierhpqoeuhi, turns out i probably had the same issue yesterday trying to play a lobby, kept crashing, seemed pretty random as to why, happened while i was BATTLING the enemy and happened when i was dead in spec. updated my hud, removed mastercoms and nothing seemed to make a difference, so probably some kind of bug introduced in the last update
good to know, i was beginning to think it was a hardware issue because nobody else was talking about it. have you had issues playing other games too?
no, tf2 was the only one that kept crashing. no performance issues or any problems with other games
