#22 Some PC games on sale at the egg in Off Topic
GuanhpqoeuGuanTwitchTVJohnGuanOrigin client fixed yet?
Origin is fine. People just refuse to accept a Steam Competitor. Not nearly as bad as it used to be. They've done pretty well with it.
By fixed I mean the hackers are no longer able to get into your account by launching games?

Steam isn't perfect too, you know.

No client is perfect of course but they was a recent huge security breach.
http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/6339/1#post-93430

There was no mention of a breach in the article linked in that post. There was only the same group that found the steam vuln claiming there's a vuln in origin.

e: also you're saying they were able to get into your account and I never see this mentioned anywhere in the article

SearchlightDon't forget that the inventor of Bitcoin basically generated a big pile of money before making it available to the public.

That's what you have to do to start a blockchain, apparently. All coins have had slight premining

except for novacoin, where the creator apparently premined 210k coins and gave 110k away to btc-e

2cefficiency of mining decreases exponentially overtime until x amount of coins are in the market(idk the number)

it's 21 mil
and the reward halves on every x block, I think it was halved from 50 to 25 not too long ago

bearodactylI guess I might as well mine, since its free, but seems pretty risky to invest money in it.

Enjoy mining at a loss, there's no way you can compete with the FPGA and mining farms people have. Also the ASICs that are coming

#38 those of you with quebec flags in Off Topic
brownymasterTechnobladeLet the hunt begin!

Now, my first clue I managed to drag up was this template:
http://teamfortress.tv/img/base/flagsss.png

But we need to go deeper!

Now, I found that the flags were sorted alphabetically; However, Zimbabwe, the lowest country we could choose, was 6 flags before the mystical pirate flag.

However, Wintersun's flag (Canada; providence of quebec) was actually closer! Only 3 flags ahead. So, from this I must generalize that this flag was added quite recently. It has been referenced as 'flag xx' while other flags, such as zimbabwe's, was classified as 'flag zb'

private investigation still under way

Interesting to note, Enigma's profile displays a blank in place of the country: slot, so it is hidden... A hidden choice, perhaps?
It's a single png that has all the flags. CSS defines the exact position shown, and since the size is one flag, you can store all the flags in a single file and just change the background-image x/y. I know enigma added the Quebec flag when Cinq offered $50 for i46, and has added more at request or whatever other reason. Not much of a mystery. Still pretty cool that someone will do that for you. Also, if you know how to edit post data requests, you can choose it too like I just did (since there's no verification check).

thanks for the post data editing tip

#9 Uh oh! news.esea.net blocked by Google in TF2 General Discussion
MagikarpI was wondering what happened about a week ago when I went on ESEA to redeem a prem code. Right after I got into the ESEA site, my computer screen locked onto a single image about my computer being locked and how it was breaking laws or some shit which I couldn't alt-tabbed out of, but it just disappeared cause of MSE or something.

sounds like you were about to get ransomed
