I'm not really sure how the Mumble overlay works in Linux, but I'm pretty sure that to have something use it you have to start it through mumble-overlay <program>

If you mean steam, download the .deb from http://repo.steampowered.com/steam/archive/precise/steam_latest.deb and install it with sudo dpkg -i steam_latest.deb
My bad, yeah I meant steam. And alright I'll try it out. Do I have to reinstall TF2 if I already have it installed on my C drive?
I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it with the GCF files, but I don't know how. You can probably just google and get an answer.
