You could probably use a custom übercharge sound, but it wouldn't work in sv_pure, so you'd only have it in pubs. I don't know about when getting a frag though.

I'm not really sure how the Mumble overlay works in Linux, but I'm pretty sure that to have something use it you have to start it through mumble-overlay <program>

If you mean steam, download the .deb from http://repo.steampowered.com/steam/archive/precise/steam_latest.deb and install it with sudo dpkg -i steam_latest.deb
My bad, yeah I meant steam. And alright I'll try it out. Do I have to reinstall TF2 if I already have it installed on my C drive?
I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it with the GCF files, but I don't know how. You can probably just google and get an answer.

Why doesn't the twitch chat work? Some messages seem to not ever reach the server meanwhile other messages do. There are also disconnects from the server itself once in a while.

I am using IRC, but it doesn't matter what I use, messages still don't reach the server or whatever other error there could possibly be.

This would give others an idea of what your main class is and a rough estimate of your experience with competitive games, etc.
Pretty cool idea
would love to be able to unlock some badges like play 50 lobbies as demoman or 100 as scout, or get an average k/d of over 2.5 etc :)
badges sound like a really dumb idea because they would encourage people playing the same class over and over all the time and getting rewarded for it
how fun do you think a lobby would be for someone completely new to the game when there's someone leagues better than him completely shitting on him and his team?
I don't care if people play the same class, just don't encourage it too much by adding badges
