bearodactyldoesn't the money just go to enigmas bank account?
aside from certain lan coverage the majority of casting and production is done as volunteer work (ie with no monetary compensation)
kinda misleading to frame it that way tbh
if you want to actually help support casting you should donate to to the people themselves instead of giving your money to someone who quit this game to play overwatch lol
I decided to give truktruk my free amazon prime sub because at that time he was doing nearly all the casting and scheming in NA and without him nothing would have happened (also his emotes are pretty solid too)
I'm going to be 100% honest, there's actually a lot I don't know about TFTV's behind the scenes since it's kept to a small amount of people, I just supply graphics and such when the time comes.
I apologize, I'll change the OP if it's misleading.
driftafeed emote
Could you elaborate a little bit? I'm a bit behind on the chat lingo, so I'm not sure if you're referring to the killfeed or something else.
Also for any prompts, if you have ideas on how it should look that would help a lot!
phobiaenigmas face
I have a few enigma faces, but by request of the man himself I'm not allowed to use them.
Hello, over the past year or so I've been helping replace our main Twitch channel's emoticons. I've run into a creative roadblock and would like to ask you guys for some ideas for what you would like to use, since you're the one supporting our stream!
As a reference, here are the current ones:

Pretty much anything goes as long as it's related to TF2 and is not too close to any existing other TF2 streamer's emotes. Thanks guys!
Employee at an aquarium hobby store. I'm one of the freshwater specialists so I deal with a hug variety of fish species and aquatic plants as well as water chemistry and equipment. We carry saltwater fish and corals as well, which I'm slowly being trained on, a lot of corals are crazy expensive. The best part is meeting all these serious hobbyists and seeing their tanks.
On the side I do commissions and sell art at conventions.
Spent most of the day cooking and prepping, I made some chive rolls, stuffing, smoked gouda mac, apricot cranberry sauce, and roasted brussel sprouts [my uncle provided turkey and prime rib god it was good]. It's also my mom's birthday today so we got her a cake too! Unfortunately I have to work this whole weekend but at least it's a small business so we're not anticipating any crazy customers.
[Also sorry I'm working on your commission, it's been super busy but at least all my events for the year are done]
Turn on your headlights/foglights when it's raining or foggy, for both your safety and everyone else's.
aroseYeah I guess you're right, I just meant that if someone does something racist or that you consider offensive, call them out on it, don't just let it slide or bottle it up.
Guess that can work for some people, but for a few of us it's not quiet simple when we turn around to correct we get doubled down on. I've had times I'm afraid for my safety if I stand up for myself and tell someone to knock it off, and would rather get through the day without any additional vitriol about being too PC or too stuck-up. Also the case of wanting to fit in with the crowd so desperately that you'll try and laugh it off not matter how much it hurts inside.
Even living where I am there's still a lot of things I've had said towards me. I suppose what I'm saying is, it's not as easy as it sounds.
Oh man, this would be perfect for me [if I could afford it].
I've worked with Cintiqs in my school labs and I've always been a Windows user. I do have a Macbook Pro for portability that I can hook up to my computer but I admit I never got used to the OS no matter how many times I've used iMacs. This will definitely be something I'm looking into especially for industry work if I decide not to invest in a Cintiq HD.
Has your life improved since you quit?
Both yes and no. In some ways I got better, I'm exercising more and working. I've definitely become less social though, I don't see friends for months. It definitely feels a lot lonelier.
Do I ever feel the urge to come back?
Sometimes, usually after watching events and such. But a lot of games have been starting to give me motion sickness that I didn't have before, which pretty much eliminates playing most classes.
Did you have some other, non-videogame hobby to spend your time on, or did you exit into the world with no clear plans for what to do next?
I started drawing a bit more, mostly personal projects and some event content. I also put more time into my aquarium hobby, now I work in my local aquarium store part time until I find a full-time art career.
What was the main reason that you decided to quit TF2?
At the point in my life where I quit playing, I entering the deepest low of my depression. There were less and less things I was enjoying and I felt like I had to cut some activities in order to direct my energy to one thing, which was finishing school. Also I did not have that competitive drive that helps when playing on teams, and with living on the West coast scrim times were always cutting into time I would spend with family and friends.
And, of course, why do you browse a forum for a game you no longer play?
I still like to read about teams and events, and I do enjoy watching casts.
DoomLordseriously? Are you guys hiring?
watching those birds of paradise cripwalk all over the place in blu-ray is one of my most memorable experiences involving a screen.
If you're knowledgeable about aquarium fish and are in the Bay Area, yes we are! I work in an aquarium store and I guess instead of playing music we just play nature documentaries. It's weird being around fish all day and then glancing up to seeing some birds of paradise or snow leopards.
Fuck yes, the work put into making the previous one was astounding. We have a tv on the wall at work that just plays Planet Earth all day, never get tired of taking a break and just watching it for a bit.
