CleepoplejdmI ran in highschool and haven't run since
I did cross country and was not very good so I switched to the 400 and 800 which I wasnt very good at either
17:50 ish 5k
2:02 800m
49.50 400m
yo that 400m time is solid not bad at all lmao
Yeah sorry if I wasnt clear I was good at the 400 but not very good at the 800
Small schools in my area of NY are surprisingly decent and my 800 and 5k times were pretty far off of championship worthy. I could place at local meets but most of the championships in the area I was usually just in like the top 20, and didnt even come close to the top at invitationals. That was also a big personal record for me at a big meet and most of the time I was around 18:30
As an example, this is a local championship meet from a year I didnt run XC and most of these schools have less than 100 per class: http://ny.milesplit.com/meets/222227/results/412525/raw#.V-koL_krKHs
However I did medal at division 2 states in the 400 and the 4x400
I just always ran 5ks as a kid and thought it was what I was good at and I used to be really skinny and not very strong. Come senior year of highschool, I was just getting worse at distance events so I decided to mix it up and found success.
There are some fast kids on this website though we could make a gnarly team
