shits on dm servers
playing medic against the tide turner makes me want to cry
shooting the demo doesn't seem to slow them unless it's their feet and they're moving so fast and there's literally nothing you can do as a medic except stand really far back

Old Team: Fast Company (ESEA-O Season 16: 5-11) http://play.esea.net/teams/81927
(I didn't actually back up for All In Without Allen, I just roster rode)
Hi, this is june, aka numbers, aka FastCo, aka 4812622. My team has just died, and I'd like to play Roamer for an ESEA or Cevo Open team. I've played 3 seasons of 6s roamer, 3 in UGC Steel and 1 in ESEA (overlapping with the last season of UGC). I've also played Soldier and Demo in UGC Steel HL and Scout in UGC Silver HL.
I've played 435 (as of today) mixes in tf2mix. I have 2500 hours in the game, 600 on Soldier. I play a lot of SOAP DM, mixes, and inhouse pugs and have been getting into coaching newbie mixes. A friend of mine in IM who sometimes mentors me says I'm around mid Open.
I'm free all summer and all weekends throughout the year. I get home from high school around 5:00 EST and am free for the rest of the night. I have Highlander stuff at around 9:30 – 11:00 EST on Saturdays through Mondays.
My greatest strength as a player, I think, is my DM. I'm pretty good at shooting the floor, camping health packs, abusing corners, and running away. I get 5 ping to Chicago servers, which makes rockets a lot easier for me. I think I have pretty good gamesense and communication, too (While playing roamer, I actually maincalled or had a large part in calling for a large part of my team's history), but I'm still working on coordinating aggression with the rest of my team, I can't do much more than single and double rocket jumping, and I've been chastised for excessive offclassing.
I'm very dedicated to improving, it's one of the most important goals to me, both as a player and as a team. I don't care where I end up in Open, what's most important to me is playing on a team of nice players who put in the time and effort to improve, both as individuals and as a team, who plan to stick around for multiple seasons.
I can pay my own league fees.
A smart player with solid soldier DM (and every other class, for that matter), and a good person and great friend despite how much he constantly bullies me (<3).
Good luck finding a team. RIP Fast Company.
Nice, dedicated player, and an incredibly fun person to be around. An asset to any low open team.
Handcuffedi think seagull's idea of unlocking everything (even class limits) makes sense with this change.
wrangled level 3s with the rescue ranger and pomson+gunslinger+short circuit engineers?
full-time phlog pyros that run as fast as scouts?
full-time tomislav sandvich gru heavies that get whipped by soldiers?
what about bazooka + backup/conch + whip?
what about the quick-fix and vita-saw?
what about 152% speed scouts with mad milk and triple jump?
what about 4 heavy 2 medic, or 3 heavy 3 medic, or 6 wrangled sentries on last or some other bullshit
how could you even consider any of that a positive change
BRZmustardoverlordWhy should people "take it cool" when the idiots at valve do more to ruin a competitive game they clearly don't understand well at all?
Hate to break it to you, but the number of competitive players is almost negligible compared to all of the public players. Valve didn't make this update because they intentionally wanted to bone competitive Demos, it's because we're not a big enough blip on their radar to care. The competitive game has been made from what Valve gave us, it's not like they gave us any competitive tools to begin with.
How are pubs improved when the demo becomes much worse at actually pushing while sticky traps remain just as good? Heavies, too, they don't get punished for just staying revved forever in the same spot. Demos and Heavies are the damage dealers of pubs as well as Highlander. I don't see what's going to be different - pub players are going to find themselves which a much slower game when they eventually stop fucking taunting for hours on end.

demos still topdamaging
hey, newbie mixes aren't dead anymore! they've been running strong for a few weeks, you should check it out :>
sick crossbow airshots
fuck this guy he is super super good at medic and it makes me cry
dedicated player who cares a lot about the game
will do well on a low open team looking to improve over the long haul
sesame street = that long hallway with the health pack under the arch thingie between mid and 2
cafe = the building from mid to 2 with cafe tables and a health kit
lobby = area from second to last (right lobby, left lobby)
dungeon = lower area from 2 to last
tetris = that weird building on mid that you can climb to the top
choke = where the demo ends up when rolling out to mid (the stairs between entrances to cafe and sesame street)
this thread actually has the info for the new newbie mixes so don't bump the other one
seems like more and more people are coming every week which is wonderful
i coached today and it was a ton of fun for both me and my mentees
if you want to get into competitive tf2 you really should come play with us :>
